We're patting ourself on the back for choosing this gem. Great rooms. Great location. And it was sooo great to have a pool to jump into since most of the swimming on the beach wasn't so good, except Lizard place. Breakfast in morning was nice. C Overall Caye Caulker is a great place. Beach bar vibe, pedestrians friendly, incredible snorkeling and diving. All at a decent price, and not so hectic as Caye Ambergis.
Comfortable room, with a good ocean breeze and great views. For being so close to the main drag, things are quiet at night and although there is a bar on the property, it isn't very loud. There are a few large lizards which live on the property, which is super fun for adults and for kids. I highly recommend one of the cabanas up front: a great view of the ocean and a hot tub on the room. It is definitely worth the extra cost to sit on the room, watch the sun sink away, soak in the cool ocean breeze, in the warmth of a hot tub.
Right next to water taxi. Middle of town. Clean and convenient. Nice breakfast. Pool overlooking the sea. Room was cleaned every day. We stayed 3 nights. Nice little bar at the place. The only bad thing was that we didn't have hot water the entire time.
Pro tip... check to make sure your air conditioner is functioning before 8 or 9PM when the staff is all gone or you will be sad when it is malfunctioning and doesn't work at night! The room is lovely and the shower is good. There was a fridge, toaster, and coffee machine in my room. My room had a balcony. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is okay... nothing spectacular, but fine. The hotel pool was very nice and hardly ever had anyone but me in it! There are TVs in the rooms, but I never turned mine on. You can walk to all the attractions and stores within about .75 miles. English speaking staff. USA outlets.
We found the Seaside Cabanas while on a day trip to Caye Caulker. I knew the minute the manager was showing us around, we were going to book. In fact, we cut our stay in Ambergris Caye short by one day, so we could stay 2 nights at this hotel. This is a absolutely darling oceanfront hotel very close to the ferry docks. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very well appointed and the grounds were extremely well kept up and had a great ambiance. We stayed in Cabana #2, that comes with a private rooftop deck, including two loungers and your very own private jacuzzi. One of our best memories was sitting in the hot tub, looking at the ocean after a day of snorkeling and enjoying the island. The room rate include a breakfast and had a bar on-site with happy hour specials. We would highly recommend this awesome hotel without hesitation. In our opinion, the Seaside Cabanas are the best choice on the whole island.…
