We stayed one night out of necessity (we weren’t able to travel home on the day we planned and had to make an unplanned overnight stop in Belize City). The location was convenient because we came in via Belize City municipal airport. The A/C in our room cooled nicely, and the bed sheets looked clean. However, we found a wad of human hair stuck to the bathtub wall and small hairs on the toilet and bathroom floor. Considering the price, I would have expected better. (In comparison, we had just come from an island resort that was half the price and impeccably clean.) There were also LOTS of birds chirping right outside our hotel room. I can’t fault the hotel for that, but they woke me up at 5 AM (during the night they were mostly quiet). We didn’t eat at the hotel, but I bought a bottle of water for which they charged me BZ $5. I bought the same bottle of water elsewhere numerous times for BZ $1.50, so that seemed a bit ridiculous. The hotel felt safe though which definitely adds value when you’re staying in Belize City overnight. Overall, our stay was okay although a bit overpriced in my opinion.…
We stayed here for one night after leaving Turneffe Island and delaying our flight home due to an impending snow storm. Being right at the end of the dock where we disembarked from the island transit and being very close to the airport, the location was ideal. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. In fact, every staff member we encountered was friendly and polite. The hotel itself could have been cleaner and needs some maintenance. Our room was ok. Bed was pretty comfortable and linens were clean. Plenty of hot water too. All in all, it was ok for an overnight but I would not recommend it as a place to stay as a destination.
My husband and I just stayed at the Radisson and it was an exceptional experience. The staff was extremely friendly and was constantly concerned for whether we were happy and taken care of. They arranged our tours and took care of all issues promptly! I highly recommend them!
We spent a night here prior to heading out to spend a week at Glovers Reef. Room was comfy, and resort was clean. Pool was cloudy but they had just gotten nearly 15 inches of rain so can't complain! It was clean and staff was working to keep it safe and nice as we were there. We swam and all was well. Would stay here again.
We spent only one night here prior to beginning a tour of Belize, but we would happily have stayed longer. Our room was very comfortable, well-furnished, and with a lovely view. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. A delicious and varied breakfast buffet was provided. I loved the location, right on the Caribbean Sea . We felt very safe in taking a walk along the road paralleling the waterfront.
