Nina is the best host you can imagine. She was extremely helpful, positive and fun. She helped us arrange tours that turned out to be perfect. We could not get money out of the ATM and thought we'd be stuck with nothing to do (although her place would have been wonderful place to lay in a hammock for three days)....

We only stayed at Nina's place for one night, but we wish it had been longer! She is so warm and friendly. We were very tired and took a nap one night before dinner. She left us a note outside our door with dinner suggestions and then called the restaurant personally so they could squeeze us in before they closed!...

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Nina's Place. Nina was an incredibly gracious host and beyond helpful, through emails before travel to every moment we had questions or needed anything - she was there. She greeted us at the gate when we arrived with a hug and we sat down to talk about we would like our trip there...

Not even sure where to begin as we enjoyed our stay at the Nina's Place beyond words. The property is quaint, well kept, relaxing, and beautifully manicured, and the hot(!) outdoor shower was awesome. Take a shower at night and it's like you can reach up and grab the stars. Pictures of the property are spot on accurate. The best...

Nina's place can only be described as a tropical paradise. Nestled on a hillside near the Belize river it's about 20 minutes from San Ignacio. While that may sound far bus transportation is readily available and really its very nice to be a bit away from the hustle and bustle of San Ignacio. We stayed in the Mayan cabana and...

This place is so cute and is the epitome of Belize and the adventures you can find here. The bungalows are adorable and the outdoor shower was a fun and refreshing experience. The grounds are lovely, including the hammocks, and Nina was the most wonderful host. Homemade bread was served with dinner and everything was fresh and delicious. I would...

Nina's place is the place to stay if you are in the San Ignacio area. The property is tidy and well-run, rooms are clean, showering facilities are a real treat and the breakfast is to die for!! Nina is an incredible hostess and chef. We were there over Thanksgiving and she kindly made sure that those guests who were traveling...

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time at Nina’s Place. It’s a super convenient location between Belmopan and San Ignacio, less than half an hour’s drive to either town. It was a great location for a visit to Tikal, which Nina kindly arranged for us. Nina is a gracious hostess of a charming place. We stayed in the Mayan...

I stayed for 4 nights at Nina's Place during my 2,5 week visit to Belize. Nina is the most welcoming person I've ever met and she makes sure you're experience in Belize is perfect, whatever your interests are. Upon arrival we discussed all the possible activities in the area (too many!!). She arranged all the tours for me and I...

Nina is a fantastic host. Settling in was a breeze. Very clean premises, and staff was very professional. Cabins are comfortable and quaint. The highlight for amenities has to be the outdoor shower. One in a lifetime experience to shower under the stars and coconut trees. Another big plus is NO bugs :) Nina offers laundry service, a restaurant menu,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
My 4 Cabanas have electricity, wifi and fans. 3 have outdoor showers and toilets and 1 has an indoor shower and toilet. My location is perfect for exploring many Belizean attractions and adventures. I am located directly on the George Price Highway, only 10 miles from San Ignacio to the West and Belmopan to the East. A settlement of the modern Mennonites is 7 miles to the north. Directly opposite flows the Belize River. A palapa covered area with hammocks and a picnic table offer a place to relax. My restaurant with a thatched-covered dining area, guarantees good food and cold drinks all day. ... more   less
