We recently spent 3 nights at Sleeping Giant in a Spanish Casita, BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! The staff at Sleeping Giant is second to none, they went above and beyond to make sure we could do all of the adventures we wanted. They only offer certain tours on certain days as a general rule, but they go out of their way...

Amazing location, seemingly dropped into the middle of the jungle. Spectacular landscaping , mixed into great natural setting. Great people, very helpful, amazingly quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Small place (only holds around 65 people when full). I highly recommend it.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Sleeping Giant in celebration of our 10 year Wedding anniversary. Our trip consisted of 3 nights at Sleeping Giant and 4 nights in Ambergris Caye. Our stay at Sleepong Giant was our favorite. We were in a River View room with an awesome outdoor bathtub and shower a great deck and view of...

We recently got married and decided that after all the wedding madness we really needed a few days to ourselves to enjoy each other's company. Sleeping Giant's Mountain View Suite has been on my Belize bucket list for a while now and let me tell you it did not disappoint! The room was immaculately clean and spacious. The views are...

This lodge is on the Hummingbird Highway. It's in the middle of nowhere so you're forced to eat in. Food in the restaurant is ok and in US$ so is a bit expensive. The swimming pool is nice. The view of the mountain is breathtaking. There are small water fall running throughout so you can here the water running all...

Our family of four (kids aged 11 and 15) had a great time at Sleeping Giant Lodge. We stayed in Mountain View Suite #3--be warned there are about 93 steps if you opt to stay in a mountain view suite BUT every darn step is worth it when you get to your room and see the breathtaking view of the...

We loved our stay at Ian Anderson. We had a jungle suite which was very comfortable and secluded with plenty of room for the three of us. The food was plentiful and excellent, although I wish they had served more fish. Exceptional grounds and service, and the activities were varied and fun. I would highly recommend the cave rafting and...

We are a family of 5 (children ages 14, 12, and 9) and we chose a family vacation to Belize to allow our family to make memories together and help our children see the world. The Sleeping Giant did not disappoint! When we arrived (9:00 p.m. and a 2 hour time change), we had been traveling for 14 hours (delayed...

I would definitely return to Sleeping Giant. The best day trip through the hotel is ATM, where you swim through a river before arriving at the cave for a swimming and climbing adventure which is appropriate for the whole family. The grounds are lovely. I had a question about some of the plants, and Jairo, one of the gardeners, was...

We had a great time at Sleeping Giant. The staff was very professional and attentive. Our waiter Brian and bartender Juan were our staff highlights, as they welcomed us to our meals and made the end of an adventurous day enjoyable. Amy at breakfast always went out of her way to get us vegan breakfasts. The rooms are fabulous -...
