Staying at this hotel was an excellent experience. Upon arriving, we were given nice cold towels to put around our necks as it had been extremely hot for the time we were in Belize. We chose this hotel because of the reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. Our room was very nice and clean and had a...

We stayed 3 nights at the resort. We arranged for a pick up at the airport in Belize City. Our driver was there waiting on time. He gave us excellent tips regarding the local area. It was a very pleasant drive. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with cool wet towels. It was lovely. Our room was nice...

Beautiful hotel with slightly older classic style. Very personable and service oriented staff. You will be made to feel very welcome. Quiet and beautiful grounds. Great restaurant. Excellent iguana conservation tour and medicinal plants tour on grounds of hotel. Just dining at the restaurant over a couple of days we saw iguanas, toucans, and kinkajous posing in the trees. Wifi...

What a beautiful and peaceful resort located just up the hill within a five minute walk from the quaint town of San Ignacio. The room was spacious for our family of four with two extremely comfortable queen size beds and a pull-out couch. The staff and owner were always welcoming and made you feel like royalty - now I understand...

We stayed in multiple places on our two-week tour of Belize—the experience we had at San Ignacio Resort could not have been any better. From the moment we arrived we started making friends from every part of the hotel. I would love to name each person here, but I would be afraid that I might leave someone off and that...

Overall the hotel was generally nice and the rooms were above average. The location was good as well, it is a 5 minute walk (up or down a big hill) to "downtown" San Ignacio. Staff was friendly and on-site there is an opportunity for a guided bird watch in the mornings - something like $15USD at 6:30am. I wasn't sure...

Stayed here 6 nights while visiting nearby maya ruins and tikal. Not much to add to all the very positive reports. The garden view room is perfect and has a veranda with 2 chairs and a hammock and covered with concrete ceiling. So you can sit out of the burning sun. In the early morning and late evening even in...

The staff are very pleasant and work hard to make sure you enjoy your visit and are comfortable. The room was very clean and spacious. We had a small patio with a hammock and two chairs. We swam in the pool most afternoons, and enjoyed our stay here. We also saw the iguanas and toucans each day. All of our...
