The charm of this lodge are the warm, kind and thoughtful people caring for it. Mike, Gracie -the chef who made wonderful breakfast for us vegetarians, Allison and Ricky are the best Belizieans we met, which made the stay in the serene lodge even more enjoyable.

I stayed two nights at this hotel and wish to be more! Mike, Ricky and Gracie (the Chef) are great people and treat you like family. The hotel is not the classical city hotel with cheap rugs, this is a cabin in the jungle! You do not have wifi, (at the rooms, only at the reception) nor TV, but you...

We had a thatched hutch cabin with a bath. The lawn was groomed and short so the jungle's mosquitos were kept at bay quite nicely. The lodge also provided a lounge/ patio area in a separate building with Wi-Fi. Food was served daily in a dining room. Grace's cooking gave us a taste of local recipes and was a highlight...

We stayed one week at Casa Del Caballo Blanco and felt welcome and cared for every moment. CDCB was the best experience out of the 3 resorts we stayed at while in Belize. The people are kind and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food was amazing. My wife is a vegan, and the chef, Miss Gracie prepared...

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa del Caballo Blanco. The property and room were comfortable and exactly what we were looking for to enjoy the nature of San Ignacio, but what really made the trip for us was the help we received from the staff. Mike, our host was friendly, accommodating, and fun to talk to....

We really enjoyed our stay here. Awesome view right outside our room, a fridge to keep the beer, and love the thatched roof. The staff is amazing and provide individualized attention. Breakfasts were always good and we also had dinner which was very good as well. Highly recommend this place as a base to explore the Cayo region.

They had a few days of rainy weather (not too unusual this time of year). The rain made their "drive way" a mud pit, and we got stuck. Most people don't have their own rental cars, but we did and it was a pain to get in and out. If they simply paved or put down rock over the dirt...

Good Day, Thank you so much for the comprehensive review and your great rating. Yes, a spate of rain and an abundance of tour vans did not play well at the entrance of the property. A few field stones, a load of gravel and perhaps a brief dry spell will help to mitigate the issue. Also, Mr Mike and Mr...

For $88, this was a steal! We came in on Christmas Eve, and the (owner... or manager?? oops, not sure) was there waiting to show us around. The grounds are beautiful, and there are nice hammock seats to enjoy the view. Internet isn't available in the actual rooms, but it's just a tiny walk to the main "lobby" area. If...
