The Singing Sands is a charming small resort with thatched roofed cabana style accommodations. Though it is located at Maya Beach near Placencia, it feels miles away from anything, making it a great place to relax and forget about the outside world. It is the perfect balance of rustic and modern for the traveler who seeks something more interesting than...

We stayed here in a September for my brother's birthday and it was very good. The pool was nice, along with the food. I should also mention the great view of the beach (shame the sea is quite dirty). Rooms are decent and spacious.

In 2016 & 17 I / we selected to stay at the Singing Sands Inn 7 times so far for the following reasons: Its a small, pleasant intimate location. The natural build guest houses reflect local lifestyles. The kitchen is more than excellent and the staff is well trained, polite and attentive. Convenient to walk to our property and soon...

We stayed at the Singing Sands in late March of 2017 through the beginning of April 2017. We loved the people who worked at the kitchen, bar and office. They were very friendly and the chefs even cooked some fish for our whole group that we caught on a fishing expedition. Our room was a Cabana with no AC. It...

Our large group Post wedding had a great Brunch at Singing Sands and their service was nicely tailored to everyone's tastes. Their Asian rolls, chicken wings were superb together with all the spirits styles commanded by our group. The setting is beautiful and you certainly feel in the tropics as the Hotel gives you the sense of peace and relaxation...

We have been going to Singing Sands for breakfast and lunch for years. Suddenly yesterday we were asked to not use the pool, regardless of having 8 people spend $300 on lunch. And there's a dog that lies across the room in the lobby and you have to step over his leash that's about 18 inches high, no one greets...

Hello. I am sorry to hear that you did have a great experience at the Singing Sands Inn. I did greet your guests who came to the front desk, while they were waiting to use the restroom, we had a short, but pleasant conversation. The dog you've mentioned is "Charlie", who is a rescue dog, he was badly abused with...

This was the second stop on my husband and I's honeymoon and it was simply beautiful! Once you get passed the fact that you wont get the same amenities you are used to in american style hotels (aka refrigerator, air conditioning, coffee maker, microwave) you realize you are in a beautiful cabana just steps from the beach and hotel bar....

Whether you've come to lose yourself or find your self, you couldn't choose a better spot. The grounds are lush and truly tropical. With only eight accommodations it is intimate and personal. Every space is oriented to the beautiful beach. The grounds, buildings and bungalows are immaculate. With dark wood structures and peaked roof ceilings the feel is Polynesian and...

This was paradise. The huts are clean, private & located right on the beach. The place is small and friendly and we felt like we were the only ones on the island. The beach was very clean and the water was cleaner. There are hammocks, wonderful food & drinks and excellent service. Everyone is super friendly & helpful. This was...
