Everyone at Bel Campo makes you feel special-Mark with wakeup coffee, Tim heading the Bar, Rene a world class chef, Desmond the top tourism guide in Belize, Ross and Mary Ann spa--- thank you!! And the best permit fishing guides! The howler monkeys and toucans were fantastic. The farm to table cuisine was fabulous. And everything is so personal. I...

This is an inspired and imaginative resort, a bit reminiscent of staying in a luxury safari resort in Africa, exotic and luxurious at same time. If you are interested in new food and how it grows and great cooking, this is a special opportunity to learn how it is grown locally. Chef Renee is terrific, and do go snorkeling with...

to adequately describe how very special this place is. From the time they greet you with a soothing towel and a cocktail, each and every staff member has a friendly service mantra towards all. Our room was spectacular, tucked away on a hillside with a peak at the Rio Grande River, with a shower larger than my first apartment. Every...

We stayed in one of the Ridge Suites and loved it. Spacious, gorgeous views and a spectacular shower with a glass wall looking out onto the mountains. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Excellent service, food, tours, surroundings... everything. Russ and Marianne set the tone as property managers who are willing to do anything (feasible) to ensure their guests satisfaction...

My wife and I stayed at Belcampo the first week of November, 2015, and we could not have enjoyed it more. The accommodations were beautiful, the food was some of the best and most interesting I have ever tasted, and the staff could not have been more genuine and friendly. On more than one occasion, I caught Mary Ann and...

While visiting a friend in Placencia, she took me to lunch at Belcampo knowing my interest in culinary fare. Perched on the upper level, enjoy your meal over looking the jungle and the river. The rooms are top notch, secluded, private, provide outstanding views. The pool, fitness center, and facilities are nestled within the canopy, and the resort also provides...

The lodge is set on a hilltop outside of the town. It supplies its own coffee, chocolate, eggs, and bacon, all of which are superbly prepared along with other ingredients in the meals served by the lodge. My wife birded with an expert guide, while I fished. The lodge has a fishing director (who was not there) and sells flies,...

What a special treat! MaryAnn and Ross are excellent hosts and Renee creates fabulous meals sourced locally. Many items on the menu come straight from the farm on site. We did not take full advantage of the many activities offered - but by all means - do learn how to make chocolate! Guaranteed to be a life skill worth having....

We visited Belcampo last year and loved it so much we returned. When we found out that management had changed AND that the chef, Renée, would be on vacation during our trip, we worried that our return trip would not live up to the first visit. So glad we were wrong. We were greeted warmly and "welcomed back" like family....

Belcampo is an experience that conjugates a great hotel, a working,self-sustaining farm, and a rich cultural environment, complemented by a welcoming staff and good food. Situated on a hill overlooking dense jungle in every direction, the hotel blends in perfectly with its environment. Indeed, from the farm one would never know there was a hotel in the greenery just above....
