Every room in this hotel is done up with exceptional care. Crafts from various regions in Guatemala decorate the rooms - all of which are large and comfortable. The owners are friendly, helpful and great conversationalists. And, the coffee, available on demand is delicious. Though...More
Very nice people. Took me out to the garden and had me try the fruits they have growing there. Helpful advice on travel to and from. Charming clean room with HOT water and plenty of covers. I did not use the fireplace.
I love the home like and family feel of Posada El Arco in Chichi. Hosts to global inhabitants, the owners and managers make you feel safe and welcome. Parking is within guarded walls. The habitaciones are clean and pleasant and comfy. We keep a place...More

Spacious, clean, and a view of the city and gardens. Pedro and Silvia both do a great job of making you feel welcome. Take Padro up on breakfast as he roasts his own beans and provides great conversation! Loved having a place to come back...More
Do a search of Trip Advisor or Google Posada El Arco. A photo of their business card comes up in Trip Advisor. Call them and talk to Pedro. He speaks English. Guatemala is on Central Time. Hope this helps.

Sorry I can't really help with a phone or address... we never make reservations, preferring to actually lay eyes on the room before signing up! This little posada actually had nothing by way of signage on the street, so luckily we had the address... we beat on the door a while before it was finally opened.
It really was a good stay. If you can't get hold of them and are not arriving at a peak time (Day of the Dead, Christmas, Easter...) it would be worth doing a walk up.
Enjoy your trip!

As I recall, it is not. They do have free coffee in the morning. The owner lives upstairs and might be willing to prepare breakfast for a small cost. He and I got to be friends and I was able to get breakfast there one morning - eggs, toast, marmalade, fruit. Just ask him.
