Everything about the hotel is top notch!!! The location is perfect - excellent restaurants all around. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in arranging our airport transfers, replying to emails, helping with luggage storage and everything we needed.
I had a great time. Definitely, will come back and will recommend it! Rooms are comfortable, adequate food options and customer service are top-notch. It is located near many restaurants and shops reachable within walking distance.
Staff is literally absent. There was nobody at the check in counter and had to shout for someone to come out. Asked for extra soap, shampoo and towels and they never brought them. Hyatt Guatemala should train better their staff.
Good hotel. Good Restaurants in the same building. Friendly Staff. Nice rooftop pool (small). Clean, good breakfast Buffet. Staff goes the Extra mile (e.g. when you loose your charger). Nice Maya Art collection in the lobby. Probably the best of the hotels in that neighbourhood.
We could not have been more impressed with this Hyatt hotel in Zona Viva, Guatemala City. The staff were friendly and professional, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The lobby level was a bonus, with Mayan sculptures and relics on display in the pleasant seating areas. We would definitely stay here again.
As usual my stay at Hyatt Centric Guatemala City was excellent! Great staff, immaculate and well organized room and comfortable bed. The hotel is very clean, with great attention to every detail to make the stay great.
Visited Guatemala City for my birthday with 7 friends..Very clean.. very modern.. great staff!! Would stay again and again and again.. it’s almost like a resort.. we had an atrium view.. played loud music in the room And didn’t get one complaint lol
We travel to Guatemala City a few times a year, this was our first stay at the Hyatt. Rudy greeted us and walked us up the Lobby (note - you have to take the elevator UP to the "L" floor in order to check in, it's not the main level of the building). Rudy was so friendly and took great care taking our heavy suitcases right to the room for us. All the staff were friendly, the roof pool is heated and has great seating options. We did not take the breakfast as we had an early flight out (it says included here on Trip Advisor, but it was in fact, was not included). The rooms were very nice, with lots of personal touches. I liked the free unlimited bottled water, slippers and robes, and toiletries. There was even a scale in the room but I was not brave enough to step on it! Very modern and stylish rooms. The area is fantastic. Attached to a mall with a good dive British pub across the street, PF Changs in the building, Starbucks just a block away, and many good restaurants nearby. We walked around into the night and always felt safe. Side note - we tried to get an Uber to the airport and that took us 40 minutes. Most of the Ubers were too small to accommodate our luggage (just 2 suitcases), so plan accordingly. If I had known, we would have saved time and caught 2 Ubers, or spoken with the front desk in advance about our options. The drive itself to the airport was just over 10 minutes.…
was there for a special event and the Hyatt was excellent. All the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The room was modern and well appointed and the location was very central. It was built in the last five years and the management was very active in day to day operations.
I have not arrived yet but would like assistance with transportation. Contacted Hyatt 5 days ago. They provided an email address for the hotel. No response after 5 days. Tried Messenger, no response either. Was just on the chat again. Reply: Hyatt can’t do anything if the hotel dies t reply to emails. @Walter Contreras: if you read this, maybe you can get someone to contact me. Given the ratings of the hotel, I was not expecting this issue.
