the hotel was so nice and welcoming. from the start we were welcomed by Fernanda who was so sweet and has upgraded our room. She also helped us when we had a problem with our tour and managed to solve our problem by arranging to us another tour company to take. Not forgetting the beds were so relaxing and the pillows were so fluffy. The location of the hotel is so nice and safe to walk at night with all nice restaurants around ( will never forget the nice pizza I had) ;-). Thank you Fernanda for all your good work and recommendations Well recommended.

Good, small boutique hotel in a quiet, safe neighborhood (Zona 10, where most of the embassies and 5* chain hotels are, just down the road from the Intercontinental, for example). 3 blocks away from the Oakland mall, and the supermarket next to it, so plenty of dining options or you can purchase your own snacks, wine etc. Room service sandwich was good, and the daily (included on my hotel.com purchase) breakfast in a nice sunny space on the roof was excellent. Good clean rooms, excellent water pressure, solid wifi, several power points in proper working desk. No fridge, no mini bar or snacks, which is a missed opportunity I think. 10usd for a ride to the airport nearby (about 15mins) , though I'm sure the website said it was included, but whatever. Friendly staff, v organized reception speaking good English. Recommended for a couple of nights.

Great price for a boutique hotel! Comfortable and clean rooms in one of the best areas of Guatemala city. Loved the late checkout. Skip the food but luckily there are a lot of great places in the area!

La Inmaculada is a modern gated property with some cute art displayed all over. I spent one night there before my morning flight. I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 pm and the room was not ready, which I expected. But it was not ready until so much later that I had time to explore the area around, to have lunch at the rooftop restaurant, to visit the nearby Oakland Mall and a supermarket returning 3 times to check if the room was ready and every time I was politely offered to wait in the lobby for "15 min". When the room was finally ready, it did not look like it was recently cleaned, it obviously needed more housekeeping care, especially corners of the bathroom floor.. Breakfast wasn't included with my reservation and staff suggested that I added breakfast for $10, which I didn't need thanks to visiting the supermarket. The airport shuttle is included only with reservation on Booking.com. Since I booked with Hotels,.com I paid $10 for the shuttle.

This Guatemala City boutique hotel is a real find, and I can’t recommend it enough! I recently booked one night at La Inmaculada Hotel, which was an excellent experience. My only regret was that I couldn't stay longer. This chic hotel has a warm, friendly vibe and a lovely outdoor area. The rooms are large, with excellent amenities and super comfy bedding. The location is great, too. It’s in Zone 10, one of the best areas in Guatemala City. Beautiful Oakland Mall is just a few blocks away, with 200+ stores and restaurants. But what I love most about La Inmaculada is the service - it’s impeccable! Upon check-in, I had mentioned to Fernanda at the front desk that I would have to leave the following day by 3:30 am for an early morning flight. She was happy to arrange a taxi pickup for me, but I could not take advantage of the full breakfast included in the rate (there is a wonderful restaurant on the top floor that opens at 6 am). Imagine my surprise and delight when staff member Jorge greeted me in the lobby at 3:15 am the next morning with a hot cup of coffee in a personalized to-go cup! Thank you, Fernanda, Cindy, and Jorge, for making me feel at home. This was my second time staying at La Inmaculada Hotel, and I hope to return for a longer visit next time.

Hotel is in a great location with many restaurant/bars/shops in walking distance and offers shuttle service to the airport, which makes this very convenient and a great hotel option for those travelling in and out of the country. My only complain came with check-in as this turned out to be a bit confusing and staff initially seemed a tad unfriendly when we arrived which resulted in a delay to get checked into our rooms.

The hotel is very clean and tidy. The hotel arranged a car to pick us up for $10. The hotel is close to many restaurants. The TV is only available in Spanish. Good wifi. Very good a la carte breakfast on the top floor. There is a lift. Good hotel to stay. Air con worked well and hot water is good.

I had a very good experience at this lovely hotel. I arrived a bit early for my reservation, but Sandra at the front desk allowed me to leave my bags at reception until my room was ready. There’s a lovely restaurant on the rooftop where I waited for my room. Also, a very modern mall just an easy five minute walk away to kill time. The room was perfect for me. Super hot shower with large rainfall shower head, which was well appreciated after spending a week in San Marcos with no hot water. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. No problems with Wi-Fi, but it is Guatemala and as a rule, doesn’t tend to be perfect. Sandra recommended places where I could dine solo and she helped me with a very early shuttle to the airport (4:45 am) which took about 10 minutes. This hotel is also located in an upscale district in Guatemala City with several dining and shopping options. As a single woman, I felt safe at all times. I would chose this hotel again if I come back to Guatemala City. Thank you to everyone at the hotel. Well done!

This hotel is just a basic, average place. The bed was comfortable but otherwise, I'm a bit flummoxed by all the five-star reviews. I had a very mixed experience from the staff. Check-in was rude, that's all there was to it. We were refused a checkin a moment before 3pm, which, alright i get it. but it was not done in a friendly way. And when we return at 2:30, another staff member is checking other guests in. The rooms are very basic; there was not even a coffeemaker or tea kettle. There was a TV but no clock, there are not bidets as claimed, and the battery on our room lock was out, so we had to deal with a hassle during our short stay. The area felt safe and there are some nice little places to eat, but not much is happening. The gate/security guard are fine, but I'm not used to someone having to race over and let me in and out everytime I enter and exit a place, and I didn't really like it. My husband said his breakfast was 'ok.' I'd try another place on a return trip, but that said, if I go back to Guatemala I'm not staying in Guatemala City, where I didn't feel there was a lot to do.

I had the pleasure to stay in this hotel for a week. The hotel staff is very helpful and very friendly. My luggage was brought to my room as there is no escalator. I felt safe at the hotel the whole time. The room was nice and very clean. The cleaning lady did a very good job and folded my clothes perfectly. Unfortunately, mainly during the night, the sinks in the bathroom began to smell ugly, so I stood up and put on the shower, and toilet...to work against the smell. There is a beautiful garden in the mid of the hotel. Very nice, with birds singing. An Oasis after a busy day. The breakfast was in the rooftop garden and serviced fresh a la carte each morning. Very tasty! Great view! Like on holiday. Unfortunately there is no English menu, but a nice waiter translates the Spanish menu into English. Transport to the Airport was perfectly arranged. The SPA treatment I had was a professional experience but given in a cold shadowed room so that the spa lady had to put a lamp on her lap to see what she is doing.
