I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 am. Check in is at 3 pm, but they gave me my room immediately. Currency exchange is one quetzal less than at the bank, but it is done immediately. To access your room floor, you put the card they give you in the elevator and you can only access your floor, the second level where the restaurant is and the 4th floor where the pool and gym are. The single room very comfortable. Bathroom with shower with hot water, they give you hand soap, moisturizing cream, body gel and shampoo, The queen size bed is comfortable, there is enough space for clothes, an electric coffee maker and they give you a kit that contains two pots of coffee, tea, creamer, diet sweetener and removers. If you want another kit it costs 4 dollars. The cable service in the room has signal difficulties, the free wifi is very good. The outdoor pool is small and without hot water, which makes it very difficult to use it due to the cold of the capital of Chapina. The well-equipped gym with two high-capacity, high-tech treadmills, two elliptical machines, an adequate set of dumbbells, a rowing machine, a back machine, bicycles and a leg machine. There are enough towels and water. The restaurant is relatively expensive, but delicious food. The breakfast buffet is worth it, although zone 10, where the hotel is located, has many options nearby. I visited the Los Próceres shopping center, which is about a 6-minute walk away and has a wide variety of items. Very friendly staff. Mrs. Joefa, the waitress on the 5th floor was really very kind. I hope to visit you again soon as a family.

Pros: Clean big room, confortable bed, nice bathroom. Friendly staff, quick check in and check out. Room service delivered within 20 minutes. Cons: Rooms not completely isolated. Could hear traffic and music from next room. Fair price. Perfect for a short business trip.

Our hotel as we checked in was beautiful. But some front desk poor english did little to help us find a dinner restaurant. So we stayed to eat at hotel. The prices were a bit higher than expected. The presentation was not impressive. The caprese salad was plain and had little taste. The margaritas were so small and had little taste for such a price. The next morning we walked to the Hilton, had the MOST IMPRESSIVE brunch ever!!!! For the most inexpensive price too. The service was Guatemala at it's best! Sorry, Holiday Inn, you need a new restaurant manager to draw in better quality.

Our stay was great! From welcome to room, from service to breakfast, everything was outstanding! The pool is bliss, heated and nice atmosphere. Also, since my husband does not use elevators, he was able to use the stairway with ease. After coming from our visit thru different places in Guatemala, it was nice to come to a beautiful, hot shower.

One brandy and two soft drinks in the bar were was 35 US$. This was somewhat excessive for a pleasant, but a rather standard, bar. Other than that the hotel was good and with very attentive staff. The cost of the drink would discourage me from choosing it again. Un brandy y dos refrescos en el bar costaba 35 dólares. Esto fue algo excesivo para un bar agradable, pero bastante estándar. What a wonderful surprise to see the last renewal of the Holiday Inn in Guatemala City.
The experience was very Pleasent since the moment I received my room rate with a nice room rate.
All the staff is very friendly and eager to give you a big smile and and efficient and rapid response to your needs (called 2 times for different needs, and in both occasions the response was quick and accurate.
Loved my room with a lot of new accessories, an extra desk or table I used to set up my working space.
A lot of plugs, loved it, nice accessories, very well manteined bathroom, with a lot of space and good illumination.
I ended my meeting late and I even grabbed a couple of snacks from the little grocery shop they have so I found basically what I expected and some other good services like the last I mentioned.
Definitely will repeat the experience soon. Thank you Holiday Inn crew!

The staff was very friendly. The room was good and the bed was comfortable, only the light switches did not all work, something I only reported when I left and there was also a little lack of water pressure in the shower. The blanket is very hot but it is solved with the a/c.
The hotel is very well located, many restaurants and bars nearby, the Oakland shopping center is a 15-minute walk away.
They offer a fairly complete breakfast buffet with extra-large cups of coffee which was nice.
They have a couple of computers for public use.
In general all good.

Room on floor 9 good. Breakfast staff ignored us for 3 days and then only paid attention to charge us for eight breakfasts for past three days. Front desk poor. Would not provide paper copy of bill because they claimed we had not booked with holiday inn. (We had.). Front desk ordered our airport transport for 30 minutes after we had requested and confirmed the day before. Front entrance was constantly blocked by cars so our driver could not pick us up. Will not stay there again.

This is a very good Holiday Inn. The staff are professional and friendly, the breakfast is good, the rooms are clean and spacious. Zona 10 is generally safe, with lots of surveillance cameras. My Guatemalan friends insisted on driving me back to the hotel, claiming it isn't safe on Saturday night, but generally this location is fine.

Excellent. A lot of attention to detail. Best pillows I’ve ever slept with. The staff was very friendly, respectful and would go out of their way to accommodate any request. Hotel is located at walking distance to a mall and small local restaurants and souvenir shops.
