I stayed here in late Nov 2022, The hotel is very conveniently located very near to the GUA airport. If you travel light you can literally walk to it from the airport (~10min walk) but they do provide free shuttle service to/from the airport. It is located in a "gated community" and the hotel itself has sufficient locks/security so i definitely felt peace of mind knowing my belongings were safe. The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room I stayed in was a little on the smaller side, but it was than suitable for my needs. (Random note but I love a good shower I was actually really pleasantly surprised by the water pressure in the shower.) They also provide a free breakfast which was quite delicious and a great added perk. All in all this place is highly rated and for good reason. It exceeded my own expectations, I would definitely recommend staying there.

Safe, gated community minutes from the airport with a free shuttle most hours, and a small fee after hours for those early/late flights. Super clean and comfortable room, and the breakfast in the garden was a delight (where I and each other guest I saw took many pictures). I tried to save a few Q and stayed at another hotel on my return, which was fine, but Toscana was really by far the superior of the two, and will be my first choice when I return.

Villa Toscana exceeded our expectations! It is located in a guarded and gated area, so safety is paramount to them. It is just around the corner from the airport. Food delivered to the hotel was good and there was a great variety. Prices were in line with regular restaurant meals. The room was very comfortable - we had a terrace with views of the volcanoes and a king sized bed. We ate the complimentary breakfast in a very attractive garden. There were numerous hot and cold choices. The staff were excellent. We'll go back again!

I had a difficult time emailing a clear reply to our arrival and the transportation. Once I persisted, the driver was there and it cost 100Q, yikes! To go just a few blocks. However, the "house" is behind a gate and I felt safe. Our room was dilapidated but clean. The shower head was literally taped on and the amoire doors were hanging broken. Early check out and the shuttle back was included (no, we paid for it yesterday as part of that ridiculous price). To go breakfast was a yogurt, juice and a pack of cookies...better than nothing. Overall, we should have stayed at the Hilton. Cannot recommend this for adults.

(This review is for the "large" room with a king bed). As it was still smaller than most hotels I would not recommend getting one of the others.
The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the bathroom was decent sized.
There is a bathtub but it is not connected so only the shower is usable.
We got a fan from the front desk which blocked out a lot of background noise and that made a big difference. If you are a light sleeper that will be needed.
The staff was polite and friendly.
If you order food delivered it will take at least a hour ( hotel staff has no control over this) so be prepared for things supposed to be warm to be cold and vice versa.
Despite the cleanliness of the room there was a cockroach so they are in need of pest control.
All in all it was a acceptable stay but primarily for it's great location close to the airport.

Very convenient. Really around the corner of the airport. Clean, good beds. Safe. Nice garden to relax. Small terrace to sit down for dinner. Dinner is not served by yhe hostal itself but they have an extensive list of suplliers. Computer available to print biardingpasses. I guess most people stay 1 night before departure. Fair price. Free shuttle/transport to airport.

Everything was perfect. From pickup from the airport to drop off the next day and everything in between. The room is slightly small for 3 people but for 1 night it works. The shower has plenty of hot water. The breakfast was good. The garden setting for breakfast was beautiful and peaceful. WiFi worked fine

I stayed here last night, had a long day of travelling and was pretty knackered when I got in. The taxi was there to meet me as arranged and my room was quiet and really clean. Paulinho behind the desk got me a charger cos I had the wrong adaptor and was just really friendly. The breakfast is wicked and all the staff are so nice. I don't think you can look too much further than this place for a safe, clean first night in Guatemala. Thanks Villa Toscana, top people!

Good hotel very close to the airport (around fifteen minutes). Beautiful terrace where it is possible to have lunch. Hotel in the secure area of the capital, which is reassuring. Depending on the time of arrival, it is not necessarily easy to enter this area if there is no guard at the barrier.

No A/C. There was a fan. Windows open, and we were comfortable. This is a very basic place---but clean and safe, with a nice staff. ~ $40/night U.S., so you can't beat the price for an overnight prior to flight in/out of the airport.
