Good water pressure, hot water, towel + soap included, some rooms have nice balcony views, reasonably priced, well located near but not directly on Calle Santander, and free drinking water. Highly recommend if looking for a nice place to stay.

Our mission team stayed here. It is very clean, serviced well. The owner and his family went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He put in a kitchen area so we could cook meals. Thank you for free WiFi. Marcos, thank you for all you do. I’ll be back. Keep up the good work. Love the store you have as well.

The mission group I was a part of has always stayed at Utz Rajil, and I wondered why until I went with them last month! The family that owns and runs this special place is amazing! They take pride in serving their customers and go to any length to make sure your stay is a great one. We didn't arrive till after midnight, and they were all there with a smile on their faces welcoming us and giving us bottled water. Marco the owner spoke little English, but his children(teenage triplets!) were fluent and always around to help. If you want a safe, extremely clean and pleasant place to stay in Pana, this is your place!

Hotel has everything you need. Free water for guests and strong wifi/hot showers. We stayed one night after getting stuck due to road blocks but would happily stay again. The rate doesn't include breakfast but there are ample options a stone's throw away from the hotel

Stayed here in early February 2016. Building is like new. Free water in lobby. Very clean and secure. Staff was very helpful when I had issues with transport. Best value I had in 3 weeks in Guatemala. Not even close.

Hotel Utz Rajil is a great value. It is a newer place and feels newer. Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Rooms in the back are definitely quieter. Wifi coverage is not the best, and is slow when there are others. They said they are upgrading the speed soon. Free drinking water in the lobby. Not fancy, but a great choice. My pro local tip: Breakfast is not included but there is a small restaurant almost next door called El Ultimo Refugio that has 3 meals for Q20 ($2.50) that are great.

This hotel was by far the best one we found for a good price in Pana. The staff are very hard-working, keeping the place spotless (it is a new-build) and they will always ask if you would like the room cleaned or fresh towels etc. The hotel is located on 14 febrero st, just off the main Santander st so more quiet but still very central. Highly recommend! .

Rooms were clean. Shower was good with hot water. Cable tv in room. Free internet but it was very slow. Staff was friendly and helpful. Drinking water available in the lobby. The street dogs of Pana were very noisy at night so earplugs would probably be a good idea.

My school in Xela suggested this place after it's sister hotel UTZ Jay was booked. Utz Rajil knocked off 15% of the rate. Paying the full rate this place would be a bargain. It's located on a side street, so while you hear the dogs bark and roosters squawk, you don't hear much other street noise. The room is tasteful with a flat screen TV and the hot water comes cascading down-the only time I could say that in my 17 day stay in Guata. The beds could be more firm, but I spent a very relaxed and wonderful night here and would return any time I"m in Pana. Loved this place.
