We really enjoyed our stay at Cacique Inn. The staff were so friendly. We were staying in San Marcos and went to Panajachel for the day. We had to stay a night in Panajachel in order to catch an early bus to Guatemala so we checked the hotel out in advance. We didn't know for sure which night we would...

Positioned between Main Street and lakeside this hotel has huge rooms circling a lovely pool and garden. Though the rooms are a little "lived in" it makes for a very relaxing stay. Restaurant can be slow but provided some lovely food. Staff were very helpful. They also hire bikes but the roads are so bad that it is not a...

We stayed, as part of our round-trip with a group, here for 2 nights. The hotel looks very nice, with a nice yard and pool. The rooms were large, the beds were OK, not great, but good enough. The shower was nice and hot, with good water pressure. The breakfast was good, enough choice. The staff was very friendly and...

Cacique Inn is located close to everything in Panajachel, and a short walk to Lake Atitlan and the boats that will take you around the lake. There's a pool, the hotel is well-maintained and the restaurant food is good.

Room amenities are acceptable, but room where noise as where on plain street. Room have and old not clean look carpet and 20 years old tv. Restaurant service is extremelly good. Even better than service is food quallity. Well located hotel, as is at wallking distance from most interesting places in town. As far as you get the idea than...

Having lived in Guatemala for many years, this was one of the places I'd stayed on a visit to Panajachel. It was a long time ago, and I wanted to revisit it; so this summer we did. What a lovely environment! The location is great, just inside the entrance to town, and the setting could not be lovelier, with all...

The location is fine: close to the dock for most lanchas and a 5-10 minute walk up to the main road. We found it fairly noisy from traffic, though. The room was disappointing, to be honest. The good points were: it was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable enough, there was a TV, and the bathroom was big. However,...

The hotel is very nice and situated one block from the lake. The flowers and plants are beautifully displayed around this hotel. The pool is lovely and shaded table umbrella's with outlets provided a nice place to work while kids were swimming. There are bikes available too. The food was good and bar service was available at most times both...

Room was clean and comfortable. Pool and gardens are lovely. Both food and service in the restaurant were exceptional. Only area of improvement is wifi/internet access which seems to only work in the pool area and doesn't seem to accommodate demand of guests during peak times. Of course, that just provides another reason to truly unplug during your stay.

Visited in late May. Very nice garden and pool area. Quiet. Room was large and clean. Walking distance to pier for boats to other villages on the lake. Ten minutes walk to main shopping street. Friendly staff and very helpful English speaking manager. Breakfast is included in the pleasant restaurant. Rotary meets here. Very good value
