On line the hotel projects an upscale 4 or 5 star image. Forget it, it isn't that. We booked one its more expensive lake facing rooms with two double beds. We arrived tired and were taken to a room with a bare light bulb hanging over a table, an overhead light that didn't work, a small dingy bathroom, no hand...

This is an older hotel, at the end of the market. You can easily access the boardwalk. At the edge of the lake with great views of the volcanos. The restaurant is excellent-we ate almost every meal there. The rooms are modest. The drawbacks were no A/C, no fan, and spotty wifi in rooms....modern conveniences we have a hard time...

Hotel need updating, no HVAC in the rooms, no toiletries in bathroom (bring your own soap and shampoo), not enough towels, bed covers overused and need updating, not worth the $$ payed for the stay . Breakfast included, but you can only selected from a limited part of the menu.

Like the title reads, this hotel is very well located on the lake and basically in the middle of the town. The staff is friendly and try to be accommodating where they can, but are limited to what the hotel has to offer. My wife and 18 month old son booked a 3 night stay here after visiting Antigua. The...

If location, beautiful views and service are at the top of yor lost then very good. The place in general needs more paint, maintenance and looks dated. Rooms inside are nice, beds are too stiff, no toiletries, only industrial type soap dispensers. Food and service are very good. Not worth the $130 per night overall.

This place is good for the price, expensive for Guatemala but average for US dollar. The room was clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The staff speaks some English, mostly Spanish. It is surrounded by tourist areas, but the hotel is quiet with security at the entrance. Also,There is a beach between the hotel and the lake. The...

We stayed one night at this property. Our room was downstairs but had a great view out the french doors, of Lake Atitlán and the volcanoes. This was likely one of the better hotels in the area from my research and the price reflected that. It was expensive by Guatemalan standards. The service and front desk were top notch. The...

We stayed here one night, the room is large and had a nice view to the lake with a small shared garden, the hotel has various facilities and overall the staff was nice. Breakfast was good, although it took them a while to prepare it.

My husband and I were with a tour group so our room at the hotel was a standard room. However it was clean, spacious and simply but nicely decorated. I loved the three wall sconces which gave a soft light in the room. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and there were hammocks and seating where guests could relax and enjoy...

A group of 14 of us traveled to Panajachel and stayed overnight at this beautiful hotel. We wished we could have stayed longer! From the terrace overlooking Lake Atitlan, to the pool area, to the hammocks lining the breezeway, we didn't want to leave. The beds were my least favorite on the trip to Guatemala (quite hard!), but I was...
