We enjoyed staying at Utz Jay. The room was very nice. The grounds beautiful with lots of flowers. Hot water and WiFi. There was a nice deck with a rocking chair. The lady at the office was nice and helpful. We didn't have breakfast there as there are a lot of restaurants close by. Very well kept place and very... More

Our stay at this hotel was marred by having our locked suitcases broken into. Luckily not too much was taken (as they could only partially force open the lid), and the hotel offered to reimburse us, but this is most definitely not what you expect while on holiday. There are other features that were negatives for us. As they were... More

I was bitten by one of the German Shepards which was entirely unprovoked! The dour owner (and staff) only offered a complimentary breakfast! Otherwise, a great value. The front rooms are bright and pleasant with private balcony overlooking the garden. Traveler, beware.

Small Hotel shops and restaurants also convenient to the boats that take you to all the villages around the lake and of course short walk to the lake. This hotel is very simple!! but we had a pleasant time and we felt very secure! Friendly staff and they make you feel welcome and they are very helpful!!

Rooms are between many gardens, and are really big, beds quite confortable. The hotel has a restaurant but haven't got a bar, is the only thing I can say I miss there. Prices are like ok, about 50q fir breakfast. But they told to us the best cheap bars in town. Is so close to the port, is the only... More

Twice a year, we stay at the is magical little place. The beautiful gardens are a pleasant retreat from this busy town. The rooms are all different, but all are very nice. Yes, some of the bathrooms can be small, but all are clean and spotless. I like the free water, location and EXPERT CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALL OF THE DTAFF... More

Good location, walking distance to lake, shops and restraunts. Friendly staff and clean rooms but night gets very noisy from locals noise and morning is noisey from the two German shepards which live at the hotel. Maybe a room further back would be a better option.

Beautiful views of the garden and mountains, hot water, peaceful place, just one of the night it was too mucho noise from a house next to the hotel. But after all, it was very peaceful. I had problems with the WiFi connection, but the manager told me it will be fixed. Beautiful place to stay. I highly recommend.

Utz Jay is located less than a block off the main drag and very close to the lake. The grounds are beautiful and each room has a private area outside as well. The rooms are small but nicely decorated. The bathrooms are small. Our bathroom didn't have a window or vent fan so it got humid after showers and also... More

I had two different rooms because of changed plans and an extra night--and both rooms were fabulous. One had two floors, two bathrooms and three beds--for one of me!--and the other was very big with a great covered patio. Wifi was spotty, but I managed. Very nice environment, all rooms are separate from others and spread out across the property.... More
