The individual rustic cottages are fantastic. The grounds are spacious and well laid out. There is plenty of room for everyone. The food is average and only one restaurant. The a la carte restaurant does not exist. Rather it is a place sectioned off in the main eating area! We found this commical. The wine is very watered down and...

It was our first time in Roatan and Media Luna. The resort was good. Premises excellent. We left cabana 154 this morning. The room was clean, close to the lobby with a large veranda with chairs and hammock. Bathroom doesn't have exhaust and hot water was sometimes not available. Food and drinks were ok, staff very friendly, beach clean and snorkelling...

My husband and I are not fans of large hotels with hundreds of people, so Media Luna was a great find. The individual cabanas are a nice touch and for us the location away from the busy tourist areas was great. We both love to snorkel and we're so pleased with the snorkeling right from the beach. The dive shop...

Very nice small cozy beach with great snorkelling with a two floor deck area to stay in the shade. Clean rooms but shady shower area needs some upgrading. Plenty of hot salty water in the rooms. Pretty hard to get soaped up with the salty water. The rooms are humid pack all your unused clothing in bag transparent leaf bags...

We had an excellent trip and would recommend this resort if you like to swim in Ocean, snorkel or scuba dive. Experience instructors and the best snorkeling off the beach that we have seen. Ocean was incredibly warm and the cove made swimming easy. Food was basic and good, but not hot. Rooms were quiet and very private. There is...

We traveled to the Media Luna on an Air Transat package. We stayed in an Oceanview cabin, with a king sized bed. Our unit did have a view of the ocean, but there were a few along this stretch had their view blocked by vegetation. What we liked: The deck area around the pools had ample seating and sun and...

We stayed at the Media Luna Resort from January 9th to 23rd, travelling on an all-inclusive Air Transat package out of Saskatoon (via Toronto). This is a pleasant smallish resort located in a relatively secluded area on the south side of Roatan. It can best be described as a ‘bare bones’ level of all-inclusive. It does have an excellent scuba...

Our group of 22 friends and family spent the week of Jan 30-Feb 6, 2017 at the Media Luna Resort. Everyone in our group loved this resort. It is a small resort and a little scary traveling on the road to get there but once your there its fabulous. We will be going back here for sure! We had a...
