The resort grounds are simply amazing with hiking trails and secluded stops and beaches. The resort and room was great and the food was good. The challenge to us was 2 things - first on Tripadvisor it doesn't emphasize that the hotel is a naturist hotel (this is a new term for nudist) and during certain weeks, you may be...

Small property. Managed by the owner/family. Part is clothing optional, but not intrusive. Take snorkeling trip to Pigeon Cay. Stay in rooms on the cliff overlooking the ocean. Bring insect repellant though as the little sandflies are everywhere

We truly enjoyed our week at Paya Bay and plan to return. This is a serene sanctuary, the staff members and owners are delightful, our room on the cliff perched over the sea was simple and spectacular simultaneously. Yoga in this setting is a must, as well as snorkeling on the nearby reef. And the private beach and turquoise water...yummy!...

We booked a day trip, as a shore excursion on a 7 day Caribbean cruise. The price was very reasonably, and included transportation, a welcome snack, lunch, and a room (yes, we had a room for the day). The owner's granddaughter (Michelle) picked us up in her own car, and drove us the 1.25 hrs to the resort (it is...

This place has lots of potential because of its isolated location and infrastructure, but it is very poorly managed and overpriced! THE CONS: **We paid for the R&R package. Even at 50% off, it was much MORE EXPENSIVE than better places in other parts of the island. **The area is VERY WINDY. I would not recommend going during the rainy...

I signed up for a yoga retreat that didn't happen (no fault of Paya Bay's). So I ended up travelling alone. The staff and owners could not have been more lovely. The food is absolutely fantastic, better than most 5 star resorts. What I really appreciated was how welcoming the family who owns Paya is. I even was invited to...

What a lovely resort on a spectacular setting. With over 99 percent of the world's organized beaches requiring swimwear, the less than 1 percent of c/o beaches need to be cherished and supported. We absolutely dissolved into the jungle-like setting and sun-drenched, clothing-optional Bliss Beach and chilled out with fresh drinks from the Black Iguana beach bar daily. While a...

This is really a nice, intimate, family-run, boutique resort. We really enjoyed ourselves during our week stay. The walking paths are well designed and the primary beach (Bliss) is quite nice. The nearby snorkeling is good, too. The owners are very nice and the staff is amazing (a-maz-ing). I don't think we've ever been treated better. Even though it was...

We say Paya Bay's offer for a day-trip. from our Royal Caribbean stop at Roatan and decided to do it. It was really a great idea. The driver met us at the specified time and took us (and others from our ship) to the resort where we had all morning and part of the afternoon to enjoy the facilities. The...

Beautiful does not begin to describe this place. We booked online for a day pass on our last cruise. We knew that the drive was estimated to be roughly 45 minutes. We were picked up just outside of the cruise dock....which was just about a 3 minute walk from where the pier shopping area was. Our drivers name was Juan....
