Super budget. The pros: comfy bed cheap owner is nice clean good wifi However. No deadbolts on the door, no gate to the building, no one is watching the property most of the time. I had my rashguard stolen from the laundry line and other guests had issues as well. There are cameras but that doesn't do much to prevent...

This place is backpacker quality. The A/C works but it takes a while. It's loud - thin walls. It's old. But it's cheap. And Minnie, the owner, is a sweetheart. $35 worth is what you get. It's across from a great dive shop and next to a great bar. Not really a family place but cool for young or budget...

This place, as most of the other budget options in Utila, is actually a traditional house converted into an inn. It's ok competed with other options in the island, the worst part is the shower (very very old and dirty). It has a very nice balcony facing the sea. The owner is super nice and helpful (she leaves in the...

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The view from the balconies was an amazing way to start and end our days on the water. A short walk to nearby restaurants and bars makes this a prime location with friendly and knowledgable ownership!

We stayed in the sea side inn during the first two nights of our stay in Utila. The advantage of this place is that it is outside of the centre and therefore a lot more quiet. The owner of the place is super helpful and friendly. However, our room was not clean at all. The sheets smelled really bad and...

I am very sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the room. Your concerns will be addressed with utmost importance to the staff. Sandflies are one of those things on Utila, it's too bad we cant exterminate those little pests. I do apologize that it made your stay uncomfortable.

Probably one of the cleanest hostels we stayed in. Not one ant or bug to be seen in the rooms (kitchen is a typical shared hostel kitchen though). We were surprised to come back in the afternoon to find that our beds had been made, bathroom cleaned and fresh towels. The only hostel we stayed in that had daily cleaning...

Me and my boyfriend went to Utila for the Sunjam festival this year. We booked the sea side for the following two nights but there was no availability on the night of the festival. Minnie couldn't have been more kind and accommodating. She let us store our bags in her own home (which is right next door to the hotel)...

This is an affordable budget hotel in Utila, on the main road. It costs $15 USD per room for a room with fan, and around $30 USD for a room with air conditioning. The owner - Minnie - is a very nice lady and her english is excellent.

“If you want a great view, ask for one of the two rooms up front on the second floor. If you want something a little quieter, get a room near the back. The corner rooms will allow for more of a breeze with windows on two walls.”
