We were immediately pleased with our oceanfront room and warm reception. What followed was not as we expected. Weather? Can't do much about that - rained A LOT, but is IS the rainy season and that's when you get the deals, but we had a few days of sunshine to enjoy, and when you dive, it doesn't matter anyway! There...

Stayed there three times last year!! My first visit was a one week visit to swim with whale sharks. I could not get enough of the island, ocean or the resort. After that visit, I imediatly returned for two other longer term visits. The resort is by far one of the best resorts i have stayed at, and as a...

We went to this resort to Dive and the Dive master, Matt was great and the boat driver. The room was clean and silly as it sounds the towels smelled like cigarette smoke everyday. Food was sometimes ok to get by on but we started to dread the meals. First resort I have ever been to that I was nickeled...

Deep Blue Resort is the best, that is all I can say, as a couple we have travelled all over the world diving and we have never experienced anything like Deep Blue, they are all about service to the customer, from the first morning when you leave your dive equipment outside your room while you have breakfast and it is...

I hosted a scuba group from Colorado for a week in July. I found the resort room to be comfortable, adequate. Not spectacular. The diving was good in spite of low visability due to storms to the north of Honduras. The dive crew was great. Showed us stuff, they were there to help if we needed help, but also left...

Deep Blue caters to the diving community and has a very hard working crew to make the best out of limited ammenities which the island has to offer. The rooms are clean, the bar well stocked and the food is very satisfying after a day of diving. Do not expect 5 start facilities, if you want that, your in the...

Hi We had a wonderful time and we were there in Whale Shark research time, the talks from visiting researchers were very enlightening, we were told information from other places in the world that had not actually been released and had just happened. As for the resort, my wife and I have travelled all over the world in the last...

My family of four and two friends stayed at Deep Blue from 06/14/08 to 06/21/08. We had an initial hiccup with the resort regarding a flight that was to be scheduled for us from La Ceiba to Utila, which wasn't, but that was made up for later when Shirley made us Friday reservations at Rainbow Village in La Ceiba prior...

I wouldn't stay there again. The rooms were clean ,comfortable and aircon was powerful. BUT... the food was sometimes unpalatable, esp at dinner time. The divemasters Chris & Matt were nice & great at finding the little critters in the sand. However they were not always very considerate. For instance, we were taken to the same not so exciting dive...

A great divers resort! The dive masters, Chris and Matt, made every dive a real treat. Unfortunately, there were no whale sharks during our visit but there was plenty of other sea life to observe. The rooms were nice and the grounds clean. Food was good though not excellent. Plenty to keep one sated! The staff was extremely helpful with...
