A great little hostel with a mix of dorms and single rooms for reasonable prices. The food next door was great - the best way to start the day before seeing the ruins - and the staff were really lovely. The only thing it could improve would be to have plug sockets next to beds, which is arguably not just...

Stayed two nights while visiting the Copan Ruins. The hostel was great, showers are hot, beds are comfy, and the wifi was some of the fastest I've seen in Central America. They even have a generator so when the town loses power they keep going. There's a restaurant next door with awesome food, a tad pricey on a backpacker's budget...

Spent two nights and had a lovely time. My room was clean, comfortable, and affordable. Excellent wifi, decent showers, and unlimited drinking water! Host Howard was very helpful (especially for this non-Spanish speaker) in organizing a shuttle and horseback riding for me.

I stayed at Iguana Azul for 3 nights as a solo female traveller. The hostel is at the edge of town, but is only 5 minutes walk from the centre and means you'll only hear crickets at night rather than traffic or people. The hostel itself is spotlessly clean and has all the information you could possibly need. The hostel...

The room was quite clean and warm. Owners of this facility definitely chose a great design to accompany their small cafe attached to the hostel. Beds were comfortable, staff was quite pleasant, and the countryside was gorgeous. I can't wait to return!!!

First place we visited in Honduras and it was wonderful. We had a beautiful private room that was in our budget and it was nice and cool with the ceiling fan. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms and facilities were really clean as well. The staff are so kind and are happy to answer any questions for you or...

I've stayed at the Iguana Azul several times and it's always been clean, quiet, and comfortable - very good value. It's a short walk from the town centre so it's both convenient and quiet. Breakfast next door is a nice treat.

La Iguana Azul used to be the first hostel in Copan back in 1997. It's still a nice place to stay, 5 minutes out of the city's center in a quiet area and offers good wifi, comfy beds and towels for guests. There's no breakfast included though, but the cafe next door (casa de café) offers an extensive start of...

I came to Copan to spend 2 nights but ended up staying 4. This place has a great relaxed atmosphere, reliable WiFi, really friendly owners, only 5 mins walk to city center. Next doors they serve a huge a great breakfast (150 limps). The Copan Ruins, the bird park and the coffee plantation tour are really nice and different experiences....

Great place to stay. A couple minute walk and you're in town. Maybe 20/25 to the ruins. Place was clean, comfortable and they had hot water. They have a few dorm style rooms and privates. I chose to stay in the private room. Was never too loud here. There's a guard outside after 5, and he stays all night. Would...
