Howard and all the staff at Iguana Azul are exceptionally hospitable, providing unreal service and bottomless local and regional information. The hostel is clean and modern, the showers are hot, and the dorm is comfortable and well ventilated. Highly recommended.

By far one of the nicest hostels I have stayed in. Double rooms were lovely, airy, clean and spacious as was the shared toilets and showers. Wifi was also really good!! The breakfast next door in the cafe which is joined to the hostel was amazing with beautiful views!!! A must visit!!

Clean, well-maintained, well-equipped hostel with great hot showers, complementary filtered water, a fridge, and speedy internet! The only thing missing is a kitchen; were one there, it'd get 5 stars!

Iguana Azul is a really good hostel in the lovely town of Copan. It's really well situated in that it's close to the main square (5 min walk) but far enough away that it's quiet at night. The room was clean and there is a large block of showers & toilets. Wifi was good & there is free refillable water... More

Private rooms or bunk beds. This is likely the best and cleanest and friendliest hostel you will find in all of Central America. The neighborgood is central but super safe (all night guard) and quiet. Showers are hot and bathrooms sparkle. Best of all may be the owners who will help you find or get to anything or any site... Never seen a place this clean! Amazing staff, perfect room (daily cleaned), towels, good shower, super fast internet and we were able to do our own washing for free! Really close to main square but also really quiet for a good night of sleep. They can organize everything for you as well. Thanks Howard and staff, we really enjoyed staying... More

We stayed at Iguana Azul in a private room and it couldn't have been better. Who doesn't love the added privacy for just a $1 more per person? Before we decided where to stay, we took a look at Casa de Cafe B&B next door, and the rooms are similar. The only difference was they had their own bathrooms. We... More

Would recommand that place. A bit away from the center but easy to reach. Really clean for a hostel - usually you see different hostels in central america. Enough showers an toilets (hot water, yay!) No kitchen available but when you know that, you can adjust yourself. Hostel is door to door to a really good Cafe (not in the... More

Kind staff, very cozy! Good location, lots of information, and flyers for the rest of Honduras clean and cheap! Free drinking water. It's a good begin or a good end of the trip in Honduras. Good garden, good menu, just perfect!

As we got out of the shuttle we were a bit worried that we were way out of town... but no, it's just that Copan is super cute and a lot smaller than many towns I'd recently visited! You're literally just a five minute, 2 or 3 block walk from the Parque Central. Loved the dorm room we stayed in,... More
