I visited the B&B during high season. Daisy was very nice and helpful. She kindly arranged our trip to Luna Jaguar. This is a wonderful family-operated business and it does have a homey feel! Doña Elena and Daisy were super kind. We enjoyed our Honduran breakfast, some of the best fried beans I tasted! This place has a wonderful view of the mountains. The rooms are comfortable and cover all your essential needs. The price range of the rooms is quite budget friendly and it has private parking! We all enjoyed the experience. Even though it’s not located near the city center, you can take Tuk-Tuk or just walk.
Thank Ana G

I'm french. I live in Copán Ruinas since 2 years. It's the French Consulate of France who gave me this adress. I can say that you feel like at home. Doña Elena will receive you like a king. And will do her best to make you feel comfortable. Copán Ruinas is the most secure place to be in Centro America and better than in France! I'm not joking at all.
Thank Pierre K

Casa Dona Elena B&B was everything we hoped for and more! It looks plain from the street, but once you walk in the door, you are in paradise-- a winding stone walkway connects the six rooms, going through lovely flowers, palm trees, and banana trees, along a hillside. The rooms, all of which open onto patios and terraces, are roomy, clean, simple and on the stylish side. The whole place looks out on beautiful hills and mountains. Dona Elena is like your kindly Honduran grandmother who cooks incredible breakfasts (e.g. tamales, rice, beans, avocado, eggs, fruit, etc), makes sure you have everything you need, but is never intrusive. You eat in a lovely plant-covered outdoor area. Lunch and dinner are available as well, if requested, and are outstanding typical Honuran food. Daisy, her daughter, is available to help set up private tours with friendly locals. The B&B is located about 8 blocks up the hill from the Parque Central and the charming little center of town. The ruins are on rhe edge of town, walkable if you feel like a little hike. Little moto-taxis come by frequently, are very cheap and have friendly drivers who will take you wherever you want to go. We were there for 6 nights, but it wasn't long enough!
Thank annkrans

This was easily one of the best vacations I've ever had in my life. The atmosphere, the food, and the views are unbelievable. I felt safe, comfortable, full, and happy! Everybody treated me like family, that was the best part. I had A-blast, even though I don't speak Spanish I was still capable of getting around town with the help of the community and Elena. I will most definitely be returning again!
Thank Jeremy A
