You'd be hard pressed to find another place like the Villas Pico Bonito. I was blown away when I got there by the amount of different flowers and the gorgeous view of the mountains and river. You can tell that the owner, Richard, cares about this place when you look at the level of detail in everything. He had brought...

I stayed at the villas pico bonito for one night and it was everything I expected and more. This was by far the most beautiful and relaxing place, it's hidden up in the mountain range and that makes it even more perfect. The views were beyond incredible! the rooms, food, and staff were equally as amazing. Can't say enough good...

I stayed here for just one night with a group of my friends on our trip to Honduras. We spent the majority of our time in Cayos Cochinos at Turtle Bay Eco Resort, but the resort owner recommended we stay at Villas Pico Bonito since we wanted to extend our stay by a day. Richard, the owner, was more than...

We stayed at the Villas Pico Bonito in March for a night while waiting to go to Turtle Bay Eco Resort in Cayos Cochinos. It was such a different experience with the roads and the scenery that let up to the resort. Once we got to the resort we were captivated by the lush and beautiful plants and trees that...

Richard did everything to accommodate us. There were wifi problems, long waits for food and new bartenders that didn't know their drinks. Accommodations were very nice and the views magnificent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was kept spotless.

Yes after the huge storm and the opening of our world class bar, we were a little behind! The wifi is now 100%, everyone has adapted to the new work environment and all is well! Glad you had a good time and hope that you will return and enjoy our little paradise once again. Richard

This was our second time here and it was even better than last time. Richard, the on-site British owner, has an eye for beauty and has built the perfect place to rest and relax in Honduras. The infinity pool is spectacular with a panorama of the Pico Bonito National Forest and the Rio Cangrejal down front. Occasional rafters and kayaks...

This was my 9th trip to Honduras, and my 8th trip to Villas Pico Bonito. This year we brought our 9 year old grandson. We spent 5 days at Villas Pico Bonito and 4 days on the island of Roatan. Our grandson says "Staying at Villas Pico Bonito was the best part of the trip". We met several people while...

This resort is located up in the hills near La Ceiba, Honduras. It is peaceful with lush grounds surrounding the rooms. There are a variety of rooms to choose from, so prices will vary. The pool area is lovely with beautiful scenery, and the food is great. If you are looking for some place to really "get away from it...

My husband and I visited Villas Pico Bonito just after Christmas and had such a fantastic time. The lodge is located in the most serene area one could ever imagine and to wake up with views of the river and waterfall in the distance is really special. Richard, the owner, picked us up and dropped us back at the airport...

What an amazing find! We are currently taking a year off work and backpacking in the region. We were torn between getting a cheap room in town and paying for daytrips in to the cloud forest or staying here. We absolutely made the right decision when we chose here. Richard the owner picked us up at the ferry terminal and...

So glad you can up the mountain to see us. Thanks for the good review. So many of the back packer community bypass one of the most beautiful places on earth and avoid the mainland of Honduras altogether. So many stories, so many rumors, yet so very different from all of that, is the plain and simple truth. You, as...
