We had the privilege of staying one night in October for a quick get away to Arcola and Arthur. Based on the wonderful reviews, we decided Arcola Flower Patch Bed & Breakfast would be perfect and with great anticipation of their famous 7 course breakfast! We were welcomed by Lynn and Bill, the owners, who are the friendliest innkeepers we...

The 7 course edible flower and herb breakfast was so good I booked a 2nd night just to experience it again. Lynne and Bill made my dreams come true explaining the flowers and herbs over fine China. We throughly enjoyed a respite from Chicago and encourage anyone who can get there to enjoy a great getaway. Arthur, Arcola, Yoder's Kitchen...

We discovered the Flower Patch in Arcola 25 years ago, while attending the Raggedy Ann Festival. Returning every year since then is like coming home to friendly, secure, comfort with old friends and new guests. Children love to look for fairies in the garden. The description given in the brochure is not exaggerated--and those breakfasts! Be prepared for great food...

Originally went here for our honeymoon. Such friendly owners, lovely home, amazing 7 course breakfast. Yes 7 course. Such a fun relaxing getaway. Near antiques, and Amish country. Cannot say enough about the attention to detail at breakfast. So fancy and fun. Delicious too! Hope to return many more times! Would be great for couples or girls getaway weekend.

This is the second time we've come here for our girls weekend. It was the first B&B we had ever stayed in and the bar was set HIGH! None others have measured up and our second stay this time was just as wonderful as the first time.

We love this place when we come to visit this area. This is our second stay. The rooms/common areas are very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast is Fabulous!! The owners are extremely welcoming and informative about the area. They stayed and talked with us after breakfast for quite a while. Our only concern: We booked the "Lavender Room" which...

This is a quaint little place to stay- Bill and Lynn are so nice and inviting. We stayed in the Garden room! The room was very quiet and we had our own private bathroom! Breakfast was great- are real experience!

My wife and I had a great weekend away from the kids, and the Flower Patch made it that much better. Lynne and Bill are outstanding hosts; my wife and I really enjoy meeting new people and we could of spent the entire weekend just talking with Bill and Lynne about history and her wonderful garden from which came much...

Our Girl Get-Away "close to home" was one of our most special in recent years! We discovered a wonderful restful respite, full of personality and flavor! The setting of the Flower Patch Bed and Breakfast is warm and welcoming outside and was full of blooms and foliage during our stay. We stayed in a large beautiful comfy suite on first...

We were in Arcola for a bluegrass festival, and I found this exceptional place on line. We have had only one other B&B experience, and the "Legendary 7 course breakfast" intrigued me. Arriving early, Bill welcomed us, and we checked into our room . .the Maple Room .. . so exceptionally decorated and comfortable. The chaise was so comfortable, I...

“I would choose a room in the Diamond House. These rooms seemed a little larger and were upstairs from where breakfast was served. Also, this is a B&B so no swimming pool and no fitness center.”
