We knew this resort is German owned and predominantly used by German holiday makers however this wasn't a problem at all. All staff speak English as do just about all of the guests (us Britts never did manage to master another language did we!)

Everything could be possible.
The average temperature in September is 25 degrees during the day and 15 degrees during the night. So a long sleeve for the evening as well as a light scarf in case of wind is recommendable.
