Riad Tara is excellent value with nice rooms and great courtyard and rooftop terrace. Jim and the staff, especially Ibsisamar, are friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The meals were great, food was amazing. Good location for access to shopping in medina and close to an access gate. We had a traditional hammam and massage on Jims recommendation, a...

The riad is located right at the heart of the Medina.. at first you may feel intimidated by the size of the Medina and its busy alleys but once you know how to navigate, it is centrally located. Access is easy to the market, to restaurants, to the palace, etc. The hospitality is outstanding! Everyone welcomed and treated us with...

I am remiss that I did not write a review immediately. Jim & Katrina were the most gracious hosts and their home was comfortable and welcoming. Jim hooked us up with a cab driver, Faiyd) who brought us everywhere we wanted. A trip to the hot baths in Yaacoub Moulay Hot Springs was the best. This is where the locals...

Three of us stayed in this beautiful riad for two nights and had a wonderful time. The owners were very kind and hospitable and arranged for a guided tour of the old town. We also had a wonderful meal. The place is very difficult to find, even with a map and we needed to have someone meet us and guide...

The riad is perfect (location, owners, staff, cat, building, etc.). I highly recommend this riad. The rooms are very clean. The owner and the staff are very friendly and very helpful. A parking space is in the vicinity of the riad.

I absolutely adored Btissame while staying at Riad Tara. Jim, would you please share my email address with Btissame? I am the one that gave her a massage while we were staying there. I would love to send her a picture my husband took of the two of us on our last night in Fes. Thanks so much! Joy Farley

We stayed 3 nights at Riad Tara. After busy days in the medina, Riad Tara was an oasis of tranquility. Jim and Catherine were friendly and extremely helpful hosts, who made sure we had a fabulous time in Fes. Tissame and Fatia took care of all the details, always with a smile. Breakfast and dinners at the Riad were all...

We had a wonderful two nights at Riad Tara. It is a beautiful oasis in the bustling medina. The Riad is not as centrally located as some others which meant our map reading skills were tested, but also assured a quiet, calm Terrace outlook. Nothing was ever a problem for Tissame with her huge smile. We would highly recommend it

What it lacks in proximity to the big sites of the central/west medina, Riad Tara makes up for with its calm, rooftop views, painstaking design and the friendly care that Catherine, Jim, Tissame and Fatia lavish on all their guests. Particular thanks to Catherine for showing us the bypass/shortcut through the medina to the souk, and to Jim for making...

We stayed at Riad Tara in Feb and absolutely loved it! Our room was extremely spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. The entire riad was beautiful. Jim and his wife were great hosts even walking with us to the square to ensure we knew where we were going, providing us w a map with good restaurants. No request was too...
