Probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was below average. The breakfast was below average. The place was not busy due to the massive drop in tourism numbers for Morocco. I actually felt sorry for the staff. There was a massive brawl outside on the street involving local teenagers (about 30 - 40 of...

My husband and I went to Fes in March 2015. It's a beautiful city full of culture. Had a splendid time. The hotel made our stay more enjoyable. The room was fabulous, very big, clean and comfortable bed, people are very warm and welcoming. The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and understanding especially manager Yazid. The food is ok...

Immediate surroundings of hotel not great - broken pavements, weeds, litter, garbage, broken branches on pavements and so on. A train line is across the road (trains during the night may disturb your sleep). Yet within view and easy walking distance is a large modern shopping mall with Carrefour, Pizza Hut, McDonalds within or just outside. There is an elaborate...

We booked this hotel on the strength of the write-up and the pictures. What we were unaware of was that these were not the pictures of the hotel we were staying at. It was a stop over for local business people, we had to endure waiting over an hour for a room, then being given rooms that were dirty and...

The Menzeh Fes is a sister hotel to the Menzeh Zalagh although both are sometimes known as the Menzeh Zalagh which can be confusing when first arriving. Most taxi drivers don't know which is which and they are about 200m apart. The location is good in the Ville Nouvelle and some rooms have a view of the hillside and of...

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights at beginning of March. Was a reluctant choice as no trip adviser reviews, but listed in both Rough and Lonely Planet guides and so decided to chance. There were other popular 3* hotels at about the same price which I considered also, but since hotel listed as 4* and double room included for...
