I recently had the pleasure of spending four wonderful nights in the Shoowaf Room at the marvelous Riad Idrissy. As you walk through the main entrance you pass through the magical Ruined Garden, a very cozy, comfortable space offering some very delicious food and drink. You then enter the main courtyard of the house and are greeted by a spectacular...

Large room and great service. Very personal service; from ensuring that rooms are comfortable (including AC), arranged a walking guide, and dinner out in town. The restaurant, Ruined Garden, is excellent. The riad also has a two century old history.

We stayed two nights at this riad, and we had a great time. Overall, this riad is strategically located, and has awesome staff; all are very friendly and helpful. Throughout the reservation process and stay we've dealt with Rob, Fatima, Osman, and Abdullatif. The local staff spoke great English and are very accommodating. Fatima helped us organize transfers from Marrakech...

We were very fortunate to spend 3 nights in beautiful Riad Idrissy in Fez. The Riad has wonderful rooms, a lovely garden restaurant and fantastic staff. It really was a calm oasis in a great location!

Our top floor room was gorgeous, with easy access to the terrace. We had no trouble finding the hotel thanks to detailed instructions from the owner. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. We had wonderful, relaxing meals in the outdoor garden. The picturesque profusion of plants, combined with traditional Moroccan architecture and decor (and attentive British and Moroccan hosts/staff)...

My partner and I stayed the past four nights at the wonderful Riad Idrissy in Fez. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience! Our room on the third floor was very large and extremely clean. The room overlooked an inner courtyard that is beautifully decorated. In fact, the entire riad is beautifully decorated. Our room's ceiling had very attractive painted wooden...

I can't say enough about how amazing this place is. If you're considering staying here, you should do it and book immediately. We had an absolutely fantastic time and it was the best place we stayed at in all of Morocco. The staff is amazing, the rooms are amazing, and the food is amazing. We also did the breadmaking class...

Stunning decor in this well located riad. We stayed on the 1st floor on the first night which was beautiful then moved to the top floor which had a terrace with stunning views over the city. The breakfast on the middle level terrace was delicious including the crumpet looking pancake. The New Years dinner was lovely and it was great...

It would be hard to top Riad Idrissy. Coffee served to your room in the morning. Excellent meals. Over-the-top rooms. Incredibly helpful staff. It's really amazing. I couldn't recommend it more. Just be aware... it's Fes. It's not a simple city. Riad Idrissy is pretty simple.

A little difficult to find, located in the maze of a medina. If you have a car, it's recommended to park in the underground parking at Place Batha, about 30dh for 1 overnight. To find the Riad, call or search for the signs (if you can spot them) to the Ruined Garden Restaurant, which is connected to the Riad. Aside...
