Amazing experience to stay in this riad. My daughter and I stayed here for Mother's Day and this place will always be lifetime memory. Our room was like sleeping in a sultan's palace and the rooftop terrace was beautiful with a stunning view over the Fes Medina. The terrace was also a great place to get henna done by one...

My wife and I are Muslim and chose Fes over Marrakesh for a more authentic and spiritual experience. The Riad is beautiful. Exquisitely decorated. The staff was extremely hospitable. The service is amazing. Rooftop terrace breakfast was excellent. The terrace view at sunset with the background of the adhan (Muslim Call to Prayer) took me back centuries. Some tips I...

A welcome mint tea, and the most delicious freshly baked cookies offered upon our arrived set the tone for our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and the rooms were gorgeous with high (4+ meters) decorated ceilings -- each room is different (we were two couples), and I was pretty happy with our ground floor room with a bathtub and...

Dar Roumana is located in the Fes Medina. This is our second stay a Dar Roumana. The first time was in 2015. Dar Roumana is absolutely wonderful. We went with another couple and they were as impressed as we were. The rooms are elegant and the people working there are so very friendly and helpful. They could not be kinder....

We were two couples and had the perfect balance of private space (each one exquisitely laid out), as well as opportunity to gather in the central courtyard with a fountain, separate nooks for different guests gathering, including a locall box turtle; and to gather at the top terrace which overlooked the Medina for breakfast. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and the...

My wife and I spent four nights at Dar Roumana at the end of our trip in Morocco, and from the moment we walked in the door we were happy with our decision. The riad is beautifully restored, with a lavish dining courtyard and comfortable guest rooms. The staff was helpful, courteous, and friendly from the start, and the restaurant...

We were so delighted to stay at Dar Roumana, from the moment we entered the stunning courtyard until the moment we left our beautiful suite. Breakfasts were delicious, dinner was wonderful. Great view from our balcony and from the finished roof. Staff was gracious and helpful. Wish I could go back!!

Upon entering Dar Roumana you can immediately relax in the Riads beautifully restored courtyard and feel at home with the wonderful staff, who greet you with mint tea and home made Biscuits, as they take the time to answer any questions you have about the enchanting medina of Fes. The rooms are spacious and the beautiful tile features are complimented...

My friends and I loved this riad and we sometimes joked that we should not choose Fez as the first place but the last place because we kept comparing Dar Roumana to other accomodations in Casablanca and Marrakech. The riad was too nice to be true, we felt that we could spend hours wandering inside and taking photos, especially with...

The Dar Roumana was my introduction to Fes two years ago and played a big role in making me fall in love with the city and want to return. I just went back a week ago for a second visit, and it was all just as wonderful as I remembered, or better. The Dar has several strong elements in its...

Beautifully restored Riad guesthouse in the ancient medina with a 360 degree panoramic view from the furnished roof terrace, where drinks and breakfast is served. All rooms (4 suites and 1 double room) are decorated with traditional arts and crafts, intricate carved plaster, high cedar ceilings, mosaic tile floors, and hand-crafted furniture. At the heart of the Riad is an ornately tiled courtyard with a sunken fountain where our restaurant is located.
