A group of us stayed at Dar Roumana as a prelude to a trek in the High Atlas Mountains in July. The Dar has a beautiful courtyard (where dinner is served) and an upstairs terrace (where breakfast is served) overlooking the Medina. This ornate building has...More

Dar Roumana was the perfect stay for our 2 days visit in Fès during our roadtrip. It's a beautiful Moroccan mansion in one the 9000 streets of the medina. There's a car park nearby. It's almost unbelievable how friendly people are in Morocco, and definitely...More

It's a short walk from the nearest gate to Dar Roumana. The gates having parking lots, though I'm sure you have to pay someone to keep an eye on the car. If you have a cell you'll be set as you can call the Dar to alert them of your arrival. If you don't it could be problematic as nothing is easy to find on your first entrance into the medina. Vanessa is terrific, alert her to your plans and I'm sure she'll help you figure it all out. ENJOY!
