We had a lovely welcome when we arrived from the owner and his steward who looked after us extremely well during our stay - very helpful, courteous and attentive. He arranged all the transport and day tours that we wanted - and these were all excellent. The Riad itself is stunningly beautiful and the rooms are exquisitely decorated and furnished....

We are four friends who had wonderful three nights in Riad Damia, which is a real treasure in Fes. The riad is a traditional fine home, tastefully redecorated by the owner who greeted us on arrival. The rooms are huge, with adjoining bathrooms. Evenings spent in the atrium were relaxing affairs, with the caretaker waiting on us under pleasing guitar...

I arrived at Riad Damia totally sick (this often happens in Morocco I believe) and was sick half of the days while I stayed here, but I can never forget this lovely place. The inside of the house if incredible with mosaic tiled walls, carved wooden ceilings, lovely courtyard. The room we stayed (with full bath) was also incredible. Not...

A wonderfull traditional riad in a quiet part of the old town, very helpful owner and accomodating live in caretaker. Fantastic service and a real haven after a trek around the medina, how it should be, not for those who love insipid boutique dwellings rather a proper Fes experience, not to be missed! Watching the sun set from the roof...

My two friends and I had a great couple of nights here. The riad is beautiful, the showers are warm, breakfast is delicious, we could use the internet whenever we needed to, and the manager is very nice. He made sure we had enough heaters and blankets at night and helped make sure we got a taxi when we were...

Our party, a couple and a mother/2-year-old, had a wonderful stay at this excellent riad. It's really not all that difficult to find, being just inside the Bab Ziat gate to the Fes el Bali medina. It's a walk to the central touristy area of the medina (the blue gate), but a nice one and not more than 10 minutes...

Enjoyed our stay at Riad Damia. Mint tea and a hospitable welcome upon arrival! Also, as we were alone during our stay, our room was upgraded to the master suite - thanks! Breakfast was quite good but the constant waiting on our table (by the manager) was quite disconcerting. Would be a good idea to give guests a key to...

Our stay started with an upgraded room and ended with service that went well beyond what would be expected. On the morning we were scheduled to leave, I became horribly ill. The manager Fahrid, called a doctor for me at 7:00 a.m. At 8:00 when the driver he had arranged showed up to take us to Merzouga, Fahrid explained the...

Our stay at this beautiful riad was excellent. It has the old riches and magnificence. Azzedine , the caretaker at the riad was especially very helpful and was available to us 24x7.

We met many nice people in Morocco, and the service we had at Riad Damia was the best of our entire trip. Excellent breakfast, with homemade galettes, pastries, fresh orange juice (sans pulp, though), delicious mint tea, yogurt, bread, butter, jam... We were greeted with mint tea when we arrived, and the owner even met us in the medina and...
