Uncleaned room with the unwashed bedding. Got it like the residents before us left it and the ones before them. We paid 200 Dh for 1 night in a room with a bathroom. It is not a bathroom but a fish tank with a roof. Horrible. I would rather sleep in a car.

We enjoyed staying here, the staff is really kind. The room is clean and shower was outside the room. It is not an hotel but it is a good point for visiting Fès. Thank you Pension Kawtar and thank you staff for the service

We had an amazing time in the Kawtar Pension. The place is set up in the traditional Moroccan way and situated right in the medina of Fes. The receptionist Abdul was one of the finest people we met during our trip. His hospitality was indeed matchless! I can recommend the Kawtar Pension to anybody who is travelling on a budget...

My friend and I found this little gem in the heart of Fes' old medina (5 minute walk to Bab Bou Jloud and the Blue Gate) plainly by coincidence. But, as we realized soon afterwards, it was the best thing that could have happened to us. Overwhelmed and confused as we were, this being our first trip to beautiful Morocco,...

The location is not that far from the Blue Gate, which is good. It was quite difficult to find the place, but so were other places inside the medina. You'd better ask the staff to pick you up at the Blue Gate. The staff were friendly and really helpful. The place has a nice rooftop where you can sit, relax,...

Kind staff, Abdoul helped us out wherever he could. Quality is good compared to the price. Not the most clean hostel, but fine. Breakfast was good and the terrace is really nice. Location is amazing, and easy to find.

Pension Kawtar is a hidden palace in the Fez Medina. From La Porte Bleu (or however it is written), you just have to walk 2 minutes to get here. Once you arrive here you already experience the Moroccan hospitality. When I came, Abdul already served tea and showed us our room, which was located in the base floor. It was...

We spent a wonderful experience at Pension Kawtar in the magic medina of Fez. Everything was great, the room clean and the staff was very nice. We had traditional maroccan tea on the roof enjoying the stunning view of the city, More than recommended.
