First: staff are unparalleled in friendly, higher-than-expectations service; full of solid local info and recommendations. Second, accommodations and environment are warm and in like-new condition; unusual for this region of the world: everything works - lights & switches, water cold & hot, toilets, etc. Rooftop terrace breakfast was excellent. Staff even provided unscheduled coffee during the day and helpful directions...

Staying in a Riad is a must for an authentic Moroccan experience. Staying in this Riad is a must for the best Moroccan experience. From the moment we arrived until we left, we were treated beautifully. Jamila's excellent cooking, directions for culinary schools, hamman experiences and rooftop meals rounded out the fun chaos of the markets and souks. To top...

Just returned from a three night stay with other family members. It was our first trip to Marrakech and first experience of a Riad. Dar Rocmarra certainly has the Wow factor from the minute you walk through the door. Our room on the ground floor was very tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The courtyard dining room was beautiful and the...

We recently stayed in the Rocmarra, for four nights in October. We were met at the airport by a very polite driver who upon arrival parked up and then walked us all the way to the front door. This was particularly welcome as the Medina is a maze of narrow alleyways and it is quite easy to get lost. Once...

My friend from Australia and I happened upon this wonderful site in the seeming midst of organized chaos. We were greeted warmly by the staff and owner and treated to beautifully prepared and presented meals and beautifully appointed and comfortably homey atmosphere with wonderful fireplace, sitting area and pond.at the conclusion of a bustling, narrow alleyway. If you plan a...

We had 4 nights in this wonderful Riad for our first visit to Marrakesh. Just a great location and very handy for all the attractions. The staff under Jamilla were just fantastic, couldn't do enough for you and very friendly. Nice roof top where you can relax away from the madness of the souks and the big square. Four nights...

We have travelled extensively through Morocco but usually in our motorhome and only spending a few nights on the outskirts of Marrakech. We said for our next trip we really wanted to be in the City in a beautiful little riad where we could make the most of everything and we were not disappointed. We picked Dar Rocmarra based on...

Beautiful little hotel. 5 rooms only. Lovely management and staff who took care of us in every way. Contacted us beforehand and offered to organise airport pickup. It cost 18 Euros but was worth it as the Dar is difficult to find the first time since it is at the end of small street. We stayed 4 nights in the...

Sometimes you come across a place so special that you don't want to write a review - simply to keep it for yourself on all future visits. That is how we feel about Dar Rocmarra and all of the wonderful staff. We arrived quite late - after a delayed flight, but were met by the driver as promised. Taken straight...

We stayed for three nights in this peaceful Riad and could have stayed much longer! The Riad is within easy reach of the sights - we walked everywhere whilst we were there.
