Very high quality Riad - rooms were furnished to a top quality. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - couldn't have asked for better Breakfast was perfect 10-15 min walk to the square, close enough to walk, but also far enough away for it to be a quiet place to relax after a day's exploring Just one thing to note... Returned last night from a trip to Marrakech, I visited with a friend and we were very lucky to have found Riad Ambre et Epices. The riad is a 20 minute slow walk from the souks and although seems very complicated to get to,, once shown (ask Patrice for a map) it is actually quite simple, you will need help... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Ambre et Epices - couldn't have stayed in a better place. Location great (book a transfer from the airport otherwise you may never find it) attentive, friendly and polite staff - nothing too much trouble. Beautiful building, fabulous rooms and a nice secluded roof terrace for chilling in the sunshine. Would give 10/10 except... More

We arranged a taxi with the riad to pick us up from the airport, which is a good idea as it's a bit tricky to find until you get used to the area. We were dropped closeby to the riad and a staff member came out to meet us. We were given pastries and mint tea on arrival and Patrice... More

Thanks a lot for this message. We were very attentive to your message, Patrice told us about this sound problem of the "Floraison de l'atlas" room. We are going to make all the necessary about it. Really happy you appreciated your stay at the Riad. Stéphane. More

This Riad was wonderful!! Our first visit to Marrakech and we could not have stayed in a better riad. Patrice is a superb host with excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants. If you are coming to Marrakech you must stay in the medina (old town) to get the full experience. We spent a wonderful 10 nights here and could not fault it in any way. The staff were always so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We took the B+B option and no two breakfasts were the same -... More

We stayed here for 4 nights, in a beautiful first floor room in the new building. It was quiet and atmospheric, with lovely touches, like incense burning and candles lit each evening. The staff are so very friendly, they offered unobtrusive service, especially Ibrahim, who was kind and extremely attentive. It is an adventure to find the Riad in the... More

There are lots of other reviews of this property which will provide information regarding the rooms (smallish, but adequate), the food, the pool (not a pool really, but you could cool down in it), and the terrace. Positioned at the (dead)end of an alley, it is about 500 Metres walk through various cobbled alleyways, to the 1st. 'street'. From there... More
