Both the accommodation at the Riad and the service are outstanding. It's always a culture shock arriving in a place where you don't speak the languages fluently. Correspondence with Riad Dar Thania, prior to arriving, was excellent. They replied to my emails within a day, sorting out our airport transfer. When we arrived at the Riad we were shown our... At first the entrance seems to be a bit shy, secret, and unbelivably charming, ... Once the door opened the magic happens. A very cosy Moroccan-African like decorations all around the place, a very pleasant atmosphere and a smiling, kind, very professionnal and charming Momo! This is the second time I come back, Momo was very welcoming and he cooked us an amazing dinner, the Riad is very quite and cosy and very clean. Rooftop terraces are THE spot to be to enjoy the sunset and sunrise on the old Medina of Marrakesh. I will definitely come back again and again.

I absolutely loved Dar Thania. It's not far from the main square, and the walk is made easier by signs and landmarks to help find your way. The staff was amazing -- Momo was incredibly helpful and kind, and the food he made was truly stellar. He made the best tagine of my entire 2-week trip! There's no way one... More

We chose Riad Dar Thania due to the reviews on trip advisor and we were certainly not disappointed. The Riad is a beautiful, calm oasis in the middle of the medina, approx 7mins walk from the main square. The rooms are exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, as is the whole place. The views from the terrace over the medina are... More
