This was our first visit to Morocco and we didn't know what to expect. Riad Ajebel was the perfect gateway. Upon arrival Jean-Jacques, the owner, greeted us with mint tea and an intro to the riad. Then the manager Jean-Paul provided an overview of possible excursions and activities he could organize, etc. He then took us on a 20 minute...

The place has been taken over by a new Manager (John Jaques) who is a traveller and explorer himself so we had a...

A small Riad next to the Royal Palace. Used to be the home of a general. Rear entrance goes straight into the Medina, so you are right there. We got the real feel and atmosphere of the heart of Marrakech. Jean Paul is the most fantastic host. Really nothing is too much. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner is available if you...

900+ years ago The Riad was annexed by the King to join his Marrakech palace. This is the starting point of our stay and it only got better. Hospitality level is above 10!
