My friend and i stayed at Riad Smara for 6 nights. We found the hotel to be clean to a good standard with decent air conditioning. We were the only guests at the time of our stay, which meant we were able to use all facilities more freely, and very much enjoyed the roof terrace. Unfortunately the pool was out... More

We stayed in this Riad for four nights and we had a very pleasant stay. The Pacha Suite is beautiful with a very nice Bathroom. The Manager was very nice and helpful. I just have to mention that the internet connection in the Pacha Suite could be improved.

I visited with two friends and chose the Smara mainly because it had a family room that we could all share. We stayed in the Sofia Suite, which was perfect for the three of us. The Riad is situated in the middle of the Medina about a 10 minute walk to the centre. The owner Brahim could not have been... More

We flew into the airport late at night, arriving forty minutes later than we had planned due to the queues at passport control. Our taxi wound it's way through the unfamiliar city, with the driver finally asking for our host's number. He knew he was in the area, but didn't know the street. Dear reader, as an initial word of... More

I have just come home from a four days at the riad smara with two friends and we had a fantastic time! The host Brahim was very helpful and helped us to organise a trip to the Atals Mountuans - which is well worth a trip! Amazing! I would highly recommend this riad!

My family took up two suites on Christmas Eve. The warm greetings from Brahim made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the ambience just right. Traditional breakfast in the morning was good. Because our driver was picking us up early, they served us breakfast early. We really appreciate the extra effort! I highly... More

My boyfriend and I were visiting Marrakech for the first time (from the UK) and wanted a true Riad experience. We couldn't have found a better place than Riad Smara. The location was fantastic - 10 min walk to the square and a 20 min taxi ride at most to the airport. We arrived late and had pre-ordered dinner which... More

We absolutely loved this Riad. Great location. In the middle of the medina but a easy going part of it. No need to worry for safety or hasseling. The atmosphere is good. The rooms are great, clean, cosy. The beds are simply fantastic. After 8 days hard matrasses through whole Morocco, finally a good bed :). Nice warm shower. Great... More
