Small quiet Riad, about 15 minutes walking to the Jeema Square. Full of cats, so beware of that, simple breakfast. Small rooms. Toilet and flush of the sink do not always work. Bad pillows and the inner ones where not clean, also the carpets not.The owner is not always in the Riad also not another person when you need somebody....

Riad Ida Ou Balou was one of my favorite parts of Marrakech. It is in the northern Medina, in a very authentic, bustling neighborhood, but none of the noise from outside can be heard within the solid walls of the riad. Jean Pierre, the owner, was incredibly kind, helpful and wonderful to talk to. He gave us many great recommendations...

We stayed in several ryads while in Morocco, and this one was the best of them all. From the moment you step through the door, you know you're someplace special. John Pierre is wonderful, the perfect host, and makes you feel right at home. His right hand man, Borhim, is equally attentive, and both are gracious, full of good humor,...

We stayed here only for one night at the end of April as a couple. As we arrived we have been served with a typical Maroccan mint tea. The french owner is very helpful and friendly. He supplied as with a map, so it was easier to get around the city (We would have been lost without it). He also...

First time in Morocco, and pretty much found this place by reading reviews- and it was great! We got an airport transfer which made the whole thing very easy (although €19 seemed a little pricey for a 20 min trip, but it was around 10:30pm so we figured for the convenience it was worth it). A lovely greeting with tea...

First time in Morocco so it was pot luck when booking but we struck lucky. The riad is small just 4 bedrooms but this means it does not get noisy - three bedrooms face into the internal courtyard and one has a window onto the street. I was only woken once during the whole week by the muezzin at the...

I was in few Medinas in Marrocos and the Riad Ida Ou Balou has the best one in my opinion. The bedroom was quite good with a shower and air condition. The breakfast was good and they offer mint tea in the arrive.
