The standard rooms are small. First room on the left after the first stair is noisy. There is an electric small heating system, not the best if its realy cold. Shower was broken but they fix it straight away. Hot water. Nice view on the mountains from the rooftop. You can arrange tours from here they are fast. Very sweet...

We had stayed 3 couples, 5 night in this riad. It is very close to Jamaa ul fna and palais Bahia 5 minutes walking. Rooms are clean and traditional. Breakfast is nice. But I'd paid the highest tax in Morocco, that 2,5 € per person, per night and they didn't give invoice. We had stayed in riads, dars and hotels...

Thank you for taking the time to write a comment on our hotel very close to the Jama el fna, clean and traditional with a goof breakfast. This is not the riad Balkisse fixing the amount and perceives the city tax It is the city of Marrakech. It is different in every city in Morocco and for each category of...

This guest house is conveniently located in a narrow alley about 300-400 metres southeast of Marrakech medina's main square Jemaa el-Fna. At first, It isn't easy to find, but a landmark that taxi drivers know is Hôpital Mokha. It's as far as any vehicle can go; beyond that, you walk another 100m more into narrow lanes to get to Balkisse's...

Stayed here with the entire family, occupying 4 of the 8 rooms. The riad was managed by a small friendly group of people, responsible for the wellbeing of all guests. Mo made sure we got all the information we needed and was always at our service, a truly superb host. The location is perfect, literally five minute walk from the...

I really loved Riad Balkisse because I felt like at my home. The structure is small and very familiar. The roof terrace is wonderful to enjoy relaxing moments and to admire Marrakech during the sunset (unique experience)! My room was comfortable and furnished in a very simple style, like the real moroccan style (not the kitch tourist style!). The location...

This was our first trip to Marrakesh and we couldn't have chosen better. As soon as we confirmed our reservation we received a friendly email offering - without any pressure - to organise lunch to welcome us on our arrival and a private taxi to pick us up at the airport. We arrived to find our airconditioned taxi and very...

Friendly and helpful staff with easy access to the Souk markets and main square. Quaint place to stay with original moroccan features with a lovely roof terrace and a surprisingly quiet atmosphere which is greatly appreciated after experiencing the crowds and liveliness of the town. Good value for money

When we decided stay in a Riad, we were looking for the real atmosphere of Morocco. I couldn't choose better. Especially, when you're welcome with a friendly smile and a cup of mint tea. From this moment we felt like part of the family. Helpful from the first to the last minute, Abdou was an angel in our stay in...

A friend and I decided to visit Morocco for the first time with no expectations in mind- and we were blown away by this riad. Extremely friendly staff- instantly greeted by warm smiles and of course- mint tea and cookies:) Very clean hotel, 5 mins from the centre square, large rooms with traditional moroccan flare and a gorgeous rooftop terrace...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Watched a football match on TV with them and talked about the champions league semi finals :). Abdu carried my one of my bags with me to get a taxi after I checked out. There was always nice Moroccan tea offered when I was in the lounge. Clean and comfortable room. Close to the main...
