I travel frequently to Marrakech. I have chosen to stay with Samira Riads each time. This Riad is snugly hidden off the main paths of the bustling Medina, down a quiet lane. Initial impressions on getting there may be confusing, but once you get your bearings, you will realise you are steps away from the main square of Jemna El...

Like most riads in Morocco this is hard to find on your own for the first time, but once you have reached it, you realize this riad is very well located. It was very close to the main medina, shopping streets and not too far from the exit of the medina as well. We had a comfortable 3 nights stay...

We stayed in a few different Riads on our trip, and this one stood out to us as by far the best, the service, the food and how nice the Riad itself was. Our rooms was typical and clean, comfortable, air conditioned and quiet. We suggest you to book this Riad, the best place to stay and relax. The Riad...

Nice and comfortable rooms. Very quiet street. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful . Had dinner with them a couple of times, and they prepared for me delicious food. Will definitely come back to stay again if I am in Marrakech.

We had a great time at this riad. Everyone was so helpful, hospitable and amazing! We especially loved Simo as he gave great recommendations and did everything he could to make our stay very comfortable. We were in the turquoise room and it was perfect! Highly recommend this place!

I'm not sure where to begin with this place! As soon as we arrived (around 10pm), we were served mint tea with traditional biscuits, whilst our luggage was taken to our rooms. We arrived late so were really tired, the manager was the perfect balance of informative but not overwhelming with information. He gave us our keys, asked us what...

it was a very calm period, so they changed us to another riad, where we would stay with other guests. (the riad is part of Samira riads, which consists of 3 other riads.) however the first night we were still the only guests. we were treated very well by the manager. (Tijani) he went out of his way to make...

Marrakesh can be an overwhelming city filled with people hassling you at every turn in a souk. We came in the summer and the heat made it more unbearable to tolerate them. This small (just 6 rooms), but beautiful and comfortable riad is centrally located amidst the maze that is the medina. It's run by a friendly, charming, informative, and...

Beautiful Riad, made even better by its friendly staff. They entertained us with a drumming performance on the first evening and joined us for socialising on the roof terrace, which was absolutely fantastic. They also made a great effort to remember my name! Food and room was also amazing. Highly recommended.

I had a very pleasant experience. Nice people and nice food. The crew is very helpful with tips for a great Martakesh experience. You'll also drink free mint tea all day long! The terasse is quite beautiful. Even though quite hard to find in the old medina streets.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riad Princesse du Desert Nothing is too good for her. Equidistant from the " Jemaa El Fna " and " Door Dar El Bacha " , the location of Riad Princesse du Desert is exceptional especially since it offers beautiful calm and tranquility. Nestled in the Medina, the small alley that leads to the riad is a wonder with warm colors that contrast with the blue sky and vegetation that is rare in the Medina which can give the feeling of a Provence in Marrakech. Additionally beautiful decoration, attention to detail , arches , columns and moucharabiehs , lace white stucco ceilings, zellij ( tiled ) walls and featuring an alchemy of colors and smells with refined bath products (jasmine and amber ) make this a wonderful place to be . Additionally, not forgetting comfort alongside the beauty, each of the 6 rooms feature air conditioning, soft bedding and luxury linens. Breakfast is included in the price and we offer complimentary Moroccan mint tea and coffee with homemade cookies at all times. ... more   less
