This property is clean and comfortable with nice staff and good food BUT it is an absolute pain to get to. It is really in the back blocks of the medina and in 4 days I could not get two and from without a guide. This was made worse when my husband ended up in hospital - I was virtually...

Beautiful Riad, with amazing architecture, big rooms and stunning decorative interior. All of this combined with a roof terrace which hold sights on Marrakech beyond belief. Very friendly and helpful staff, good location (which is very calming within the busy Medina) with delicious breakfast. In short its makes you feel at home. 5 stars, we had a very good time...

This 17th century riad belonged to a judge (el Qadi). It has been carefully and respectfully restored by its owner who holds a PhD specialized in Moroccan architecture. The result is just superb! The atmosphere is the most authentic you can get in Marrakech : more than a Riad, it's a museum. I think that a high level of luxury...

It is very nice place to stay! We had a big family suite, at first the yellow and when we came back from our roundtrip then we stayed in the big white suite with skylight. It was my favorite riad throughout all our Morocco trip. It is renovated by professional architect and the way it is done is very pure,...

certainly the most authentic rhiad experience of my stay: lovingly and meticulously restored to its original glory. provided a fascinating study of how traditional rhiads worked - this one housing the local judge who went up to his tower to consider his verdicts apparently. the meal was just first class ; again the best of my trip and decent value:...

We stayed for 4 nights and the service, food and setting were perfect. Very friendly and very clean. Big, romantic suites are available but the smaller rooms are very cosy. The terras on top of the riad is very nice to be outside in the quiet shade. Very recomendable!

Preface: We like staying at different places and experiencing different accommodations, so don’t let the fact that we stay only one night in some awesome Riads cloud the review. Safety: Coming from an Emergency Medical Services backgound, it is my impression that most Riads (by definiton) are fire traps. There is usually only one staircase and one way in/out, so...

We spent 10 days in Morocco and felt that this was the most authentic experience that we encountered. The Riad is small in scale and the household operates in a way that is might have for centuries. The layout is that of a traditional Dar (home) with a central courtyard that opens to the sky. The ground floor has 2...

Dar el Qadi is a lovely and welcoming house in the heart of the old town in Marrakech. About a 5-8 minute walk from the main square and close to local attractions like the Medersa. On arrival at the Dar we were served a welcoming spread of lovely mint tea, biscuits, pancakes, jams and honey. Four of us stayed in...

Dear guests, Thanks very much for your detailed and globally positive impressions on your stay in Dar el Qadi with your friends. Your negative point concerning the twin room in the small douiria is quite true, due to the fact that the bedroom has not much space to add a piece of furniture but I take it here into account...
