I am a travel agent and Riad Shanima was one of many I checked on my trip trough Morocco. I can honestly say it was one of the best! When checking it online I was a bit sceptical, since it is a bit more modern than the others, but when we got there we were totally impressed by its combination...

I stayed some nights with my brother before and after a desert trip. The place is a real gem - very beautiful, good food and great service - a quiet oasis within the busy city. We enjoyed the good breakfast every morning on the roof and small nice gestures like a welcome mint tea with sweets. We also had great...

The riad was really quiet only with 6 rooms and always with Adil, the responsible for the riad 24hours per day. All people very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, very modern and clean. The breakfast was very good always with fresh food.

Beautiful riad with amazing staff. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely every morning. We arrived late in the evening and got picked up by riad's driver. A delicious dinner was waiting for us, it was a great start of holiday. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. We loved the riad and Marrakech.

The hotel might be difficult to find and is not exactly close to most attractions, but it is the only newly renovated, sophisticated riad we found in our entire Morroco trip (as you may guess, riads are usually traditional and old-fashioned). Still, it had that riad feel. The room was great, very clean and spacious. The bathroom, in particular, was...

I looked at many different riads in Marrakech and eventually chose Riad Shanima because of the location, good reviews and good price. I was not disappointed and was very impressed with the staff - they really do make you feel at home and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed in this Riad for a couple days and the hospitality was excellent. Very welcoming from the moment we arrived, relaxing with mint tea while our bags got taken to out room, and Asma showed us a map of marrakesh and around the Riad. Our room was great, we were on the terrace with our own sun loungers and table...

Excellent everything - location, staff, breakfasts, hammam, wi-fi. I travel a lot and this one of the best places I stayed in. Tea and sweets on arrival were really pleasant. Very informative and helpful staff. Great rooms and indoor area.

First of all the Bab Doukkala neighborhood is the place where you have to stay in Marrakech. Although is inside the Medina is a quite calm area. You can easily access the Riad (not in an obscure derb) and you fell completely safe even at night. The Riad itself is an hidden gem!!! All staff very attentive and nice. Delicious...
