Fantastic, beautiful hotel with fantastic staff, great food, wonderful room. A wonderful base to explore Marrakech. I would definitely stay here again. Marrakech itself is a bit trying with all the motorcycles and other vehicles threatening to run you down as you walk in the medina, but this hotel is a safe luxurious respite from all of that.

We visited riad melhoun as a group for my birthday - the riad is beautiful and perfectly located, the spa (and massages) were great and the staff were incredible and made sure that we had a fantastic trip. The roof terrace is particularly beautiful with plenty of areas to relax or sunbathe - wr had a big group and the staff could not have been more accomodating. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back.

Riad Melhoun was quite possibly the best place we have ever stayed. It was a piece of luxury hidden in the bustling Medina of Marrakech. We felt welcomed and safe throughout our stay and there was someone available to help 24/7. We stayed in three riads in Marrakech, all >9.5 on booking.com and whilst all lovely, Riad Melhoun is off the scale. The staff- We genuinely miss the team working at Riad Melhoun- they were incredibly kind, considerate and welcoming. One of many examples of this- we were cold after it rained one afternoon, and on our return we were offered a complimentary hammam to warm up! The Riad- This is one of the few riads we found with a terrace pool. Moroccan tea, in a lit up, heated pool, under the stars at 9pm, was special. The interior detail is phenomenal, no photo does it justice, you'll find it lit with candles at night, with beautiful smells and incredible rooms. Also, the riad only caters for a small number of guests despite ample space to relax and two pools, you therefore have privacy to relax all times of the day. Breakfast was delicious, with the option of having it 'berber style' on cushions on the floor, or up on the terrace, or by the pool in the riad downstairs. A note about current news- I appreciate the Israel-Palestine conflict might cause significant concern for many travelling, I would like to take this opportunity to advise that Marrakech was peaceful and without checking the news you wouldn't actually know what was happening around the world right now. Additionally, the riad was unaffected by the earthquake and there's in fact very little evidence of this around Marrakech. What an incredible trip, envious to those yet to explore this incredible place!

Our team takes pride in creating a welcoming and safe environment for our guests, and we're delighted that you felt well taken care of throughout your stay. It's heartening to know that you appreciated the efforts of our staff, and we'll be sure to pass along your kind words to them. The story of the complimentary hammam after a rainy afternoon exemplifies the level of service we aim to provide – going above and beyond to ensure our guests' comfort. This was the perfect place to stay in Marrakesh! The Riad is stunning and the location is perfect. It’s inside the medina, but on a very quiet street. The best part though is the outstanding service and attention to details. The staff was so hospitable and accommodating. Even the straw hats on the lounge chairs added to the luxurious feel. The pool on the roof was lovely and the food was delicious! There was nothing they could possibly have done to make our stay better. I will definitely stay here again,

This Riad was INCREDIBLE - the only accommodation I'd recommend for Marrakech. We were guests for 4 nights and didn't want to leave. The accommodation was amazing as the decor was Moroccan exquisite, the property clean and overall beautiful. Nor, Mohammad, Jamal, Abdul, Adeesha, Sahira as well as the hospitality/housecleaning/SPA staff were personable and overall out of this world - no detail was missed to ensure our stay was extraordinary. Make sure to eat dinner at the Riad - better than a Michelin Star restaurant or any eatery in the city. We ate Adeesha and Sahira's homemade meals every night and each was an incredible Moroccan experience. Did not find any meal comparable during my entire 2 week visit to the country! The meals were made with thought and love. Take a cooking class and the eat what you prepare, that afternoon! - the Moroccan spices and flavors were nothing I had experienced in the past. I highly, highly recommend a SPA treatment after a hectic day in the medina - the massage therapists were top-notch, rivaling any five star big block hotel spa! The Riad was our oasis within a very hectic city. The roof top deck with warm pool was a lovely way to wind down the day. Once we walked through the front door, we were treated to a very calm, quiet and relaxing atmosphere - something you do not want to miss. My friend and I barely left the Riad during our stay for this reason.

Wow wow wow. What a first rate stay. Quick background… I can be a discerning hotel guest. I put a lot of care into choosing a well-designed, thoughtful, friendly, comfortable lodging. My friends stayed at Mamounia but I didn’t want to spend that much money. Though Mamounia is worth the cost, for a fraction of the price you can have a more intimate, very beautiful, equally convenient stay, and actually, I thought the food was better at Riad Melhoun than at Mamounia and cost 20 Euro for dinner instead of over 100 Euro at Mamounia. Highlights: - The Staff: incredibly warm and welcoming. They felt more like family. Their English is amazing and they’re are so genuine and bright. - The Premises: so so beautiful. Not overdone or underdone. If I had more than a few days in Marrakech, I’d spend a day just lazying away at the hotel. - The Food: Beautiful and super tasty breakfast and dinner. I loved sitting both in the courtyard and on the terrace. So so good. - The Massage: one of the better massages I’ve had and was only 40 Euro. Wish I could have had time for a massage every day! The room (Lunja) was super comfortable as was the bed. Yes the bed is on the firmer side, but it sounds like that’s standard in Morocco and I didn’t think the bed was TOO firm. It had enough softness and give on top. I slept really great. I was worried from the pictures of Lunja and that it was the only room available that something might be not so great with that room, but it turned out to be totally worth the price. Clean and comfortable. It is up on the terrace level, but staff will carry your luggage up and down the stairs.

Impeccable service, courteous staff, delicious food, and fabulous historical architecture and design made this a truly memorable experience. In the heart of the Medina, near souks and restaurants. The riad helped arranged great excursions both in town and in the wider region. Even if you are in Marrakech for work rather than play (and my wife and I were there for a bit of both), do yourself a favor and stay at this gem of a place, rather than at a boring modern hotel.

An incredibly beautiful old Riad with exceptional craftsmanship in its architecture, lovely friendly staff and a very relaxed and private feeling. Great breakfast and location right by the Bahia palace. I’ll go back next time and explore some of the other bedrooms.
