Dominique and Gilles et al were all so wonderful. From the moment we arrived, having been met at the taxi stand and winded down the narrow streets, we felt safe, cared for, and pampered. Tea was served and we immediately had the sense of being in a special place, treated like cherished family. It was so comfortable and relaxed. The...

We had an amazing time staying with Giles and Dominique and staff. Where to start, it was all such a pleasant experience, that we ended up extending or 3 night stay to 11 nights! The riad and rooms were comfortable and had an authentic moroccan style. The breakfast was very tasty and complete with eggs, fresh yogurt, homemade jams, and...

Staying at the Riad Abaca Badra has been a wonderful experience. We have been traveling over a year and have been burned by booking too long in one place (in case it's not what you were expecting). But after 1 night here we extended our stay by 4 more nights (so 7 in total). They also upgraded us because the...

I am so glad that I chose this lovely Riad for my 6 night stay in Marrakech. Gilles and Dominique are generous and attentive hosts and look after your every need. The decor in the rooms and throughout the Riad is beautiful. They provide tea and fresh water whenever you need it. The shower gets nice and warm and has...

I was travelling solo to do the Marrakech Atlas Etape cycle event on the weekend that I was there. I chose the riad based on the reviews on this site and it certainly lived up to its excellent reputation. I'd checked beforehand that it was okay to bring a bike with me and everything went like clockwork from the start....

Arriving at the riad was very easily based on the instructions provided in advance; steps away from Dar El Bacha. As soon as I arrived, I received a warm welcome with mint tea and Moroccan sweets. Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious, comfortable and clean. And the lovely Moroccan decor—in the room and bathroom as well as in...

Clean and quiet place to relax...great place to stay in as well. Convenient location near important places to visit in Marrakech: Old city (Jamea el fana), kotobia mosque, Menara etc. We stayed here for about a week and we loved it. The owners Dominique and Gill were great people. They made us feel at home. The staff always there 24hrs,...

We booked Abaca Badra based on previous reviews and we were certainly not disappointed, it’s a beautiful Riad, tasty food, well located and dirt cheap, the owners Gilles and Dominique could have not done more to help, they were up to make breakfast at 6am when we had an early start and booked everything for us, couldn’t have asked for...

I stayed 4 nights with a friend in this beautiful riad. It is centrally located within the medina of Marrakech and so is ideally placed to visit the tourist spots on foot. Despite being so central, inside the Riad was nice and quiet with a friendly atmosphere. Gilles and Dominique gave us lots of advice about sites to visit within...
