We arrived in the evening and were welcomed by the friendly staff and an amazing cup of mint tea and 3 course dinner. It felt a haven from our flight, and remained that way for the rest of our trip. It was the perfect space to come to after hours of exploring in the heat (because of the roof terrace,...

Stayed here on our first day in Morocco. Cars don't go near the riad since it's deep inside winding alleys, so we were dropped off midday at the busiest time in a very busy part of the souk, and all of our luggage screamed out tourists. We had to deal with being harassed by aggressive boys while trying long and...

We stayed for 3 nights with the kids (4 & 6 years) old. The building on the inside is just so beautiful! We loved the relaxing atmosphere, the sound of the birds and the rooftop terrace. The kids kept themselves entertained with the two turtles and the dipping pool. The first night we had diner at the Riad and it...

Loved the interior decorations, the old world style interspersed with the modern facilities. Would also recommend having the in house dinner or lunch at least once, the cooking was delicious, Hicham and Thierry (The boss/owner I think!) were extremely kind and warm. My partner and I felt really happy and comfortable there. Can't recommend it enough. Especially loved the pictorial/...

We have just returned from a 4-night stay at Riad Matham and can honestly say it surpassed our expectation. It had a lovely calm and relaxing atmosphere and was beautifully and tastefully restored in keeping with traditional Moroccan style. Our room was large and comfortable. Thierry and his staff were very friendly and welcoming and we appreciated the mint tea...

We spent 6 days at this absolutely amazing Riad. Our room was specious and tastfully decorated as was the rest of the Riad. It was almost surreal to sit at the rooftop terrace and eat breakfast with the Atlas mountains in the background or to enjoy a drink in the late afternoon watching the sun go down. The staff and...

One of the two best places I've stayed in my life - the other was an old palace in India. Like that, it was a wonderfully atmospheric place and an oasis of calm amongst chaos. We had a sort of "family" room, can't remember the name, but the kids had bed on a mezzanine floor, which was great. Breakfast was...

Our experience in Thierry's riad was absolutely wonderful! The location is probably the best you can get in Medina, it is so easy to navigate and reach the main square, souks and other sights. The welcome we got from Thierry and Hisham was so great - not only we were welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea and pastries, but we received...

We enjoyded 10 days in this wonderful und very nice restored Riad. It is located near the Marrakesh Museum and Medersa Ben Yussef. We loved the dinners near the fireplace and the sunny breakfasts on the roof-top terrasse with the wonderful view to the Atlas mountains. The owner of the riad and all of the staff are caring und so...
