My daughter and I stayed 4 nights here recently. Omar met us from our taxi from the airport, the riad would have been difficult to find the first time otherwise. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated, and the breakfasts tasty and varied. Omar and Mehdi were really friendly and always helpful, offering advice such as how much we...

Omar and Mehdi, the owners, were great guys. Very helpful and made me feel very welcome. Casa Sophia is in a great, safe location. The rooms are delightful and clean and the breakfast was lovely. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely return.

My husband and I could not have enjoyed our stay here more. Omar and Mehdi, the owners, were very hospitable and ready to help with any questions we had. The riad itself was nicely decorated and our room was cozy and comfortable with a/c which was very welcome after being out all day. The Jmaa el fnaa square was literally...

We absolutely loved our stay in Marrakech. Having such a great place to stay was just wonderful. Omar met us from our taxi the first night which was so great as we were a bit worried about finding the place. Omar and Mehdi were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was lovely and relaxed. The rooms are extremely...

Our family of 4 had a wonderful week long stay at Riad Casa Sophia. It's a beautiful little riad just a few minutes from the main square and yet quiet and peaceful. We had adjoining rooms so our daughters (aged 5 and 8) were right next to us. We loved the traditional decorations and furnishings which made coming back to...

Took my mum here for 4 nights and it was the perfect stay. The Riad is well located and allows you to access the central on foot without any issues. The Riad is looked after by two brothers who are both very welcoming, friendly and make you feel very much at home. Thank you so much for our stay and...

Our 1st time in a Riad accommodation in Morocco, The location of Casa Sohpia was excellent, half a block from the major square in Marrakesh. Our room was nice and quite different from any of our expectations. Nice room and little boudoir to relax. No problem with the AC, although a TV would have been nice to keep in touch...

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Mehdi was sincere, informative and so helpful. This place is worth booking solely on the point that the owner will look after you and guide you in what you to get out of Marrakech and Morrocco. Thank you Mehdi for a lovely stay in your Riad.

The riad is in a great location in a quite alley way (makes it a bit tricky to find at first) minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Djemaa El Fnaa. The rooms were clean and reasonably sized. Having a private bathroom and air con was greatly appreciated in the heat of July. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were...

Just spent 5 great days staying at Riad Casa Sophia in Marrakech. Can only add to what has already been said. It's a clean, small and extremely friendly Riad only a couple of minutes walk from Jemaa El Fna down a winding alley. Tucked away you get a little sanctuary of peace. What makes this place so good though is...

“Better arrive before 11 am so taxis can enter Djema el Fna which make your walk to the riad is shorter. After 11 am taxis are not allowed to enter. Our room, near the stairs on the 2nd floor is larger and has 1 extra single bed.”

“If you take a room on the second floor, you have direct access to a lounge on the terrace. I stayed on the first floor, which was a good idea considering the time of the year - rooms on the first floor are less exposed to outside temperatures!”
