We'd read the reviews about the dusty, bumpy road to the hotel so were fully prepared for our arrival. This hotel was more than we could have imagined and a total oasis away from the city and London. The staff were lovely and very accommodating whether it was for food or to do with room. We sadly missed booking a...

This is a truly beautiful hotel in a quiet area about 25 mins from the airport. The hotel is small and quaint which is good if you are looking for total peace and quiet. The gardens are lovely and well kept and the hotel has a resident kitty who is very friendly. There are lots of little hideaway places in...

This place is incredible. I just cannot recommend it enough. I went with my friend Molly on a spontaneous trip away and we both couldn't have had a more luxurious, relaxing, indulging and rejuvenating time! The staff are absolutely lovely and so accommodating, and the setting on the Hotel is absolutely stunning. Yes, yo drive through some buildings sites and...

This holiday didn't start well when we were left waiting for 1 hour at the airport for our transfer to th hotel. Another tour operator contacted the hotel on our behalf to enquire how long we would have to wait. We were then somewhat concerned when Halid, our driver turned off the main road onto a track and drove for...

Caravan Serai, an evocative name for an evocative hotel. As this is my first visit to Marrakech I can't really judge this place by local standards. However as an avid globe trotter I feel I am qualified to say that this hotel is a gem. First impressions are misleading as the track from the main highway to the Caravan Serai...

Just returned from a five night stay , the hotel is so beautiful and the staff are amazing . Our room was huge with a lovely terrace . The pool was unheated so didn't use it but it was a pleasure to sit by. We had lunch 3 times and dinner once , the food was delicious and served with...

This place is absolutely gorgeous and an excellent escape from the craziness of the Moroccan medinas. As some of the reviews do mention, it's outside of Marrakech so taxis are needed to get around. Overall, the hotel caters to a clientele that seeks a foreigners experience in Morocco (which is much needed sometimes!). It's comfortable and luscious in its surroundings,...

We have recently returned from a wonderful holiday in caravanserai near Marrakech. It is a beautiful place to stay . We were mesmerised from the moment we walked over the threshold. It is an old building which has been carefully restored to incorporate modern comforts whilst retaining the ambience of its past. Our room was very spacious with high vaulted...

My (new) wife and I toured Marocco and this was the only disappointing place that we stayed at during our visit. We stayed two nights. The place is quite isolated, about 25 minutes from the airport and a taxi from anywhere else, and it seemed that they knew this and, therefore, that 'they had you' an example of this is...

The service at Caravan Serai Hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff were very lovely, helpful and they made us feel at home. Girls, do not hesitate to ask the staff for the henna made by Samira (I am so pleased and love my henna) - it truly is better and cheaper than in the city centre. Our room was more...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Evoking the ancient stopping places of the travelling merchants, the CaravanSerai is symbolic of the other face of Morocco. The interior courtyards and secret corners are inspired by the traditional Berber villages. In luxurious simplicity the 16 bedrooms and suites are decorated in a refined ethnic style. The Hammam, with its tadelakt plaster columns and its great pool subtly lit by shafts of light, is considered to be one of the finest in Marrakech. ... more   less
