Spent four nights in Ryad El Borj in Jan 2012. This place is an oasis of tranquility just a short distance from the medina - the room was great, the staff v helpful and the communal areas are charming. Having our breakfast each morning on the roof terrace was a highlight!

from the original booking emails to my farewell from the great staff, I could not fault this Ryad. Had 2 nights by myself at the of of a 2 week tour but was made to feel so comfortable, friendly staff, fabulous room on 3rd floor, amazing food and the best location. I ate in both nights, as the first night...

I decided to splash out and go for the Riad experience in Marrakesh, and this is where I ended up. It is a great place. And don't worry, it isn't that expensive if you aren't on a shoestring. I had one of the smaller rooms on the first floor for the first night, for the other two I got the...

Excellent in every way. Location, services and surroundings perfect. Should be much higher rated on trip advisor. I have stayed in 4 higher rated Ryads. This is by far the best.

This is a great mid price Riad in the Medina. It's really close to the main square (Djemaa el Fna) and other attractions. We arrived late last Saturday night, note that the square is closed in the evenings so you cannot get a cab anywhere near by. No problem though, we got a trolley man on the sqaure to cart...

The website says the tower room is the tallest spot in the median of Marrakesh, and it's true. It connects to a private roof deck and it was magical to sit out there and hear the call to prayer coming from every direction. The roof deck has a table, chairs, loungers, an umbrella-it was a wonderful spot to get away...

Riad El Borj was recommended by a friend. And now I feel it's my duty to recommend it to everyone else. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are elegant and comfortable and spotless. The view from the rooftop patio is excellent (especially from the balcony of the top floor suite). The staff is great. And the location is perfect...

My third stay at the Ryad El Borj and the time has come to write a review. Lovely, typical maroccan houses (a big and a small one close to each other) just a few steps from the main Medina square. Quiet location and very convenient for touring the old city. Rooms are pretty and confortable, with private bathrooms and very...

The Riad El Borj surprised us, because from the outside all you can see is a door (you need a guide to find it) – but in the inside there is a nice courtyard, full of orange trees and with a fountain in the middle. The room smelled like roses and it was huge. When we got there we really...

It says a lot about Marrakech accommodation that this joint ranks about 300th out of 600 on TA as it struck us a truly exceptional place to stay. We had the suite and it is huge. The main room is the size of the average UK house - about 2.5 stories high and full of interesting features in the Arabesque...
