We were quite disappointed with the riad as it seemed to be really confortable and cosy on the pictures but was actually quite average. The pool isn't actually a pool but more of a "basin". The room was very small and the bathroom smell pretty bad. The staff was welcoming but never the same. The food was good (breakfast and...

The riad is right in the medina of Marrekech where you can't find easily if you dont get a guidance from the hotel staff. The city is very busy and crowded with motorcycles, parking lots, narrow streets and markets so you will need a guidance to reach the riad. The place is just okay with simple breakfast. But the spa...

This riad was incredible from booking to checking out: prior to arriving, the hotel sent useful information and was able to arrange for airport transfers and an excursion. It was all hassle-free and the cost was just added to the bill which was settled at the end of the trip. We had a hammam and massage in the riad which...

We booked in at reception for treatments and when we came back to the Riad at the arranged time, the courtyard area/ Spa was full of men hammering and we were told our appointment was in another place. It was funny as we had actually been shown this as the location of the Spa when we checked in- no mention...

Riad Dar El Aila is in a great location within the Old Medina. Word of advice, book your initial transfer from airport with hotel as tricky to find first time round. It's also very close to everything that you can walk everywhere, but far enough from the busyness that you do t hear the Mosques at pray time. Within a...

Staying at Riad Dar El Aila was like staying in an oasis of calm in the middle of the bustling medina. The location was excellent, very close to the souks and ‘big square’ and many gorgeous restaurants, and within walkable distance to the Palaces and the Jardin Marjorelle (although the Riad was king enough to help arrange taxis for us...

It was our first time in Marrakech and we were overwhelmed by the madness of the city. This riad was the perfect tonic to the hectic streets of the medina. Very friendly staff, very nice comfortable room and beds, beautiful sunny rooftop perfect for relaxing after the day. Nice food also. Youssef was very friendly and made us feel very...

A wonderful friendly Riad that helped us enjoy a break to Marrakech . We loved the roof top garden and the welcome mint tea and we enjoyed our chats with a very helpful, Mohssin, who ensured our breakfasts of amazing orange juice and home made delights started us off well.

Our least favorite of the 3 riads we stayed in while in Marrakech. The place was fine, but a little run down and could use a facelift. We were supposed to stay at their sister Riad, Riad Origines, but they moved us to this one at the last minute and it was supposed to be a "good thing", but we...

This riad was so nice! The staff is super friendly, the location is good. I would definitely recommend a airport pick-up, because it is very hard to find in the medina. So the first time you get there, you're sure not to get lost. The room was great, clean and a lot of ambience. Also the patio is nice, and...
