Visited the riad for a week in August and we were blown away. The riad is beautifully Moroccan and an oasis of calm from the busy city just outside. Sybille and Saad were so helpful declaring us the 'princesses of the riad' when we arrived and certainly treating us that way! Breakfast on the roof terrace was a lovely way... More

This was the third time I have visited this Riad and won't be the last. There is just something about this place that gets under your skin. I will say that its not for everybody. If you want to party the night away and be in a huge hotel which is exactly the same as all other hotels in the... More

A perfect location for those who really want to experience Marrakech. The hustle and bustle disappeared once the riad door was closed. A dip in the pool or a snooze on the terrace and then back to the action outside. Sybil was the perfect host and the food she produced were excellent😁

What a wonderful hotel. In the medina but positioned to allow easy axis by the taxi that delivered and collected us. Once in, a true oasis both in terms of the decor and garden and in terms of the friendly welcome and service. Breakfast could be served in our room, next to the garden or on the roof terrace. We... Just coming to the end of a fabulous holiday in the beautiful Riad Dar Sbihi. The building is a stunningly restored traditional Riad. The staff were delightful, understated and caring and very friendly and helpful. We were pointed in the direction of a number of good restaurants though none beat the meals we had in the Riad. These were romantic... More

We visited this wonderful riad for our silver wedding anniversary. We booked with Thomson but found Sybille to be much more helpful. She has a wealth of knowledge and is an excellent cook. She made us our anniversary meal. A traditional Moroccan meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast is delightful and can be taken up on the roof terrace or... More

The Riad Dar Sbihi is a beautiful, refurbished hotel in the new section on the Media in central Marrakesh. The location was perfect for us, just a short 15/20min walk to the main square with easy access to the main attractions of the historic medina. The owners of the hotel quickly made us feel at home and gave some fantastic... More

The Riad was like a hidden paradise in the crowded Marrakech,a place that can takes you back in time with the beautiful architecture, traditional tasty food and in my case the music added an extra touch to the place with Om Kalthom songs. Sybille's tips were inestimable,we enjoyed our stay with the special treat form a very friendly staff.

Who knew that a little door in an inconspicuous back street would open into such a wonderful place? From the moment we arrived, we were treated like princesses, and the cool tranquility of the riad is a welcome respite from the madness of the streets outside. So calming, so relaxing, food amazing. Sybille is so knowledgable and we'd have happily... More

A real gem of a find. The cool and calm courtyard was a welcome escape from the bustle in the souks during the day and the craziness of the square at sundown. The kindness and extensive knowledge of the delightful and learned Sybille was invaluable. Her familiarity with the town, its people, its tourist highlights and general Moroccan life helped... More
